How does he put so much of his body in it but still hit so soft? Obviously he's not hitting super soft, but he is isn't hitting super hard like a metal drummer even though he brings his arms up way high and practically launches himself off his throne with his kick drum playing.

i was there, it was the riser. the stage was fine. at 9:30 am on day 1 it was really early and i dont think they had enough time to setup. later performances seemed more steady.
