Prefer Nicks 37ft more economic to run trip fees lower get more clients. Keep Sadie and Sarah happy
@TheVonMatrices4 жыл бұрын
I don't think you could economically justify the 42 as a charter because the 37 already does everything needed for a charter yet the 42 costs 50% more. Most of the 42s I've seen aren't used as charters; they are like this one - private use for a person who just wants the biggest boat regardless of the cost.
@wilburkookmeyer17734 жыл бұрын
@@TheVonMatrices Then why get the 42 instead of the 47"? Guess he's probably got one on order. Only 3 year wait list for any Freeman.
@TheVonMatrices4 жыл бұрын
@@wilburkookmeyer1773 I agree - I don't see the reason why the type of people who buy the 42 won't just get the 47 now. Those buyers with the largest boats aren't chartering and don't have ownership costs as their main priority. Likely the main reason these buyers bought the 42 is because the 47 didn't exist at the time. Introducing a more expensive model is a great business move by Freeman since they are production constrained. If you can't make enough boats for everyone who wants them, you might as well sell the most expensive models you can to make the most money.

Local merc dealer in Aransas pass tx posted on Facebook their shop can change a head on a Merc in 4-6 hours. Practice makes perfect I guess. I don't see the advantage over the 37. The main difference seems to be that the 42 has extra storage, but the 37 already has more storage than you can use. A V hulled boat would use that extra length to add a cabin, but with a catamaran you can't add a cabin so I don't know why the longer boat is worth the extra cost.
@wilburkookmeyer17734 жыл бұрын
KZbin Jimmy Buffets enclosed cabin Freeman.
@StanzFam4 жыл бұрын
Both are definitely great boats, the 42 rides a little better when it’s rough with the extra length but the main difference would just be the bigger deck space. More room for the rocket launcher, it’s able to have double row seating (this one didn’t) , and if you like fishing with a bigger group of people it’s just more roomy. I’m happy with my 37 though, not sure if I will ever make the switch. Definitely Gotta weigh additional costs vs benefits
