Star Ace Ray Harryhausen The 7th Voyage of Sinbad Cyclops Statue Deluxe Version Review

This is a very nicely sculpted, painted and detailed Cyclops statue. I love the head sculpt. I appreciate the fact that the eyes can be moved around. I also appreciate the articulated mouth as well. The paint application is exquisite and there are some nice areas of light and dark paint. The rough rock-line skin has a nice texture. The fur-like bottom of the torso also has a nice texture. Sinbad and the sailor are nicely sculpted and painted, despite being smaller pieces. The display base compliments the overall piece rather well and it has some intricate paint and texture work. However, as you've already pointed out, there is very little in the way of real estate space in order to fit the Cyclops, Sinbad and the sailor. The display base should've been a bit bigger in order to accommodate all three characters. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for another wonderful video. I greatly appreciate the continued hard work. Keep it up!

ok , the cyclops from this movie is my favorite monster of all time !!!!! but this one by star ace is just BAD . it has a 5oclock shadow and the seems in the shoulders is BAD . i could go on and on but let me just say i have been watching the 7th voyage for 50 years and i am an artist and sculpter and im very big on screen accuracy and if you put a picture of the cyclops from the movie next to the star ace model you will see what i mean . star ace x plus should have looked at the ones made by joe laudatti and mike maddi befor makeing this model !
