Wish I could get it to run this smoothly. Even on lowest settings I'm typically getting sub-10FPS (both in PU and PTU). Curious what rig/settings you're using. Fun snippet too - encountering someone else like that really adds to the immersion! *edit - didn't see the link to specs in description

The servers on the PTU are pretty hit and miss at the moment regarding server frame rates, a lot of time I'm also in the teens or lower if the server is having a particularly hard time depending on what the player population is doing. ​@@CarbonPixel78 Thanks! Have definitely seen some servers are better than others, but it's great to see what a higher spec rig can do. Probably due for a refresh and a little more RAM - trying to unload a hold at 3FPS is just... not ideal, heh. Hopping more often is a great tip though!

Some really important points to check if you have bad FPS. You must have a windows page file set on "system managed" whatever amount of ram you have. All pagefiles and the game must be set on SSD disks, no HDD. If you have only 16GB ram, you must have at least 20GB of free space on the SSD where the pagefile is set. Graphic must be on high (low put the work on the CPU) except for the clouds that can be turned off

that's actually quite interesting that someone would have their bare hands out on a cold/hot planet with low oxygen and then smear their prints on the screen. If anything it should be covered in dust and you have to wipe it off after a dust storm to use it

Cargo trading as autoloading as an option which has a timer. Cargo hauling currently has manual loading, but you're not on the hook for the cost of the goods, just the cost of the mission if it fails.

Good eye, the cargo actually bugged while loading it so I was a few SCU short, but you can still get credit for what you deliver. :)

We tried it in a personal hangar - you ride to the bottom and the doors don't close; it just returns you to the top. An org member managed to hover over the platform and see the ship de-spawn/re-spawn, but presumably the intent is to prevent you from seeing the magic poof.

It looks like they use the same code base for storing ships for the cargo elevators. I think it goes back up if a player character is detected inside.

The small hauling missions are typically in the 4-6k range but you can pick multiple missions and stack them by location.

@@vairoalexnder Looking at the missions, there doesn't seem to a be a difference for hauling to stations vs. outposts. All the payouts are placeholder though.

hauling missions are pointless, they pay too little and take too much time. They are useless. It will just be a novelty like the caves and so many other features. Always cig ruins it. They should at least double the values. A full C2 hauling mission, leading to 3 different locations pays 76k. It is absurd.

I saw on a recent PTU update they have increased the pay on lots of missions. They were talking about a continual balance of Risk vs Reward for the missions. I think I saw 13k for a starter hauling mission in a vid.

On a space station in orbit around a planet, you can take on multiple missions to deliver cargo to the same planet. I took on 11 missions at a time at Seraphim to deliver cargo to the port of Orison. It all depends on the capacity of your ship.
