Your more right than GFA, I grew up much closer to Liverpool than Manchester, my parents are from both of them so I have a pretty strange hybrid accent, not helped by living in Birmingham for 5 years haha.

Seeing the jump without the wormhole tunnel makes me wonder if that is what going through a wormhole tunnel would look like in real life? Obviously we will never know in our lifetime but it is magic to see and cool to think about.

I really wish they were not waiting for 1.0 to introduce the new global illumination tech. Every place is so dark. Devs work so hard, the set dressing is so amazing looking, yet so much is shrouded in darkness. Wish they could reduce the haze on planet surfaces as well. Always seems to be something covering the ground. Assuming it is to reduce draw distance for performance. I cannot wait to get to play in a new star system.

I could never get through the jump gate. Kept getting this error like so many that wouldn’t allow me to jump.. I was in the carrack and the error, was something like specs not met, but it also said the size was not allowed. Got a similar message trying to use the cutlass red.

So you can quit from wormhole once colour changes and you will be in other system. Its good option to avoid camps i guess.

I don’t think anyone is defending the time taken mate (it’s also been 12 years). However, take a step back and look at the scale of this game, the complexity and the level of depth with each individual loop (in game now and planned). It’s a bit mad! Starfield was in dev for 10 years behind closed doors and was dog water. Let them cook, be patient. It’ll be an incredible game when it’s out, even if it’s another 5 years away. All that being said, I understand your frustration and trust me, we all feel it. Including the devs. They’re working their asses off every day to make this what I can be. We’ll get there bud.

More likely CIG will collapse or investors will use a put option, all in they have until 2028 so if SQ42 bombs it's game over as those investors want their ROI. Legally they have already achieved the Kickstarter goals, now it's just about rinsing the cash while they can, it was never about the game. Right time to buy the next new most awesome OP ship.

it is visually impressive indeed but the update comes with 0 gameplay as usual so it will be visueals only, Pyro gonna be a baren system with not much to do appart exploring. Hopefully the live game will benefit from server meshing and be playable again, because right now it's an embarassing mess performance wise.

@Nitrox_909 future development is meaningless if the game is unstable or unplayable. If the PU is not solid, it won't matter how many new things are added to the game. At some point, cig is going to have to focus on play ability instead of new ships and fancy future features, or they will lose backers.

I see a lot of people in game who can't access hangars in MT and A18. I'm basing out of lower traffic lagrange stations for that reason. Seems stable enough. Fully agree that server stability should be CIGs no 1 priority. Last week was a total shit show, constant 30ks and server errors. Imho its improved since the patch but still bad in the high traffic spots.
