Great video. This is what I've been recommending for new players to make money, so thanks for making a video of it - I'll be sure to share it! Two things to note: 1. You can stack Comm Array Reboot missions found under "Maintenance" along with these to add another 2000 aUEC for only about a minute more work. If you park very close to the station, the NPC AI often crash into it when maneuvering if they do try to attack your ship. 2. At the end, when you come in for a landing at PO, you can hold F, mouse over your left MFD, then middle click to focus on it, and click the little wifi looking symbol next to "Port Olisar Landing Services" to hail them rather than using your mobiglas. It's a bit faster in the long run.

The timer only starts after you attack the first skimmer. That means if you wanted, you could make this even more trivial by revealing all three before the timer even starts.

You can do a trade route from Daymar (Nuem waste spot) o grim hex, if you have a 300I or so you can get that same amount of money even more each run, so that plus these missions can earn you quick bucks

I found the best route to make money is to take about 5-6 cargo missions from crusader area to the lyria/wela then on the way back bring as much neon as you can. Roughly 60-80k in an hour.

Well duh, obviously you can make lots of money by running cargo. The point is that to actually make money running cargo, you already need to have a decent enough ship with a cargo capacity that actually makes it worth doing. Even with Widow's ridiculous ~70% profit margins in 3.4, none of the 'starter' ships had to capacity to make it worth running, so they certainly don't now.

@@arstulex Well duh I'm mainly talking about the covlex missions that do not require an expensive ship. You can take 5-6 little boxes in a ship like a titan and a one way trip would be about 35-45k and even on the way back you can take I think it was 8 SCU which translates to another 8k bringing you to around 45-55k. So no you do not need the large haulers although I use my max it is still viable in the smaller ships.

​@@trickshotsniper1 Oh damn, my apologies. Usually when people say cargo they mean trading SCU lol. But yeah, if you plan your trips well and line up the deliveries you can make a lot of money delivering boxes. The only issue with that currently is how buggy and unreliable those delivery missions are. Either... -The machine refuses to give you the box to begin with -You get the box but it glitches out in your ship and you can't pick it up anymore -The contract randomly ends because of some invisible timer (seriously, why is this a thing?) -You actually deliver the box but the contract gets withdrawn for some reason and you don't get paid You can take a bulk of 5 delivery missions and only have 1 or 2 actually complete successfully. It's a real ballache.

@@arstulex all good. Yea I have seen that problem with the boxes I would say I haven't experienced that problem a lot especially since the small patch went through yesterday I haven't had any issue at all but realize it all depends on luck.

They should change how power works, for example: A small power plant produces 100 units of energy, a small shield gen costs 25 units to run at full power, engines cost 40, shooting one gun could cost 5, etc. So you could balance all your power out depending on what you need, and it would be very intuitive. Since you know it costs maybe 89/100 of your power to run your ship, you could then overclock shields an extra 5 units of energy, just giving them a little boost, at the expense of more energy and more heat production. Maybe you could drop thrusters to 50% putting them at 20units and then overclocking weapons putting you at 100 units total, your ship would still run fine, but engines would be a little less weak and weapons much stronger. Maybe you could even go over the limit, overclocking stuff above your max power output would cause some issues, for example, if you fired your guns and it exceeded your power limit, maybe a single maneuvering thruster would turn off for a short time to compensate, or maybe more extreme issues could happen, just an idea, adds emergent gameplay, and gives you a choice, and its very intuitive.

I've been getting 8-10k reward elimination missions around Hurston after I've gotten a crime stat. Pretty good pay for killing 1 vanguard/valkyrie. If only the current combat wasn't so broken, it's not even challenging, just long and frustrating. Shooting stationary skimmers seems like a better alternative.

for some reason, you may get a free bounty reward from completed by someone's hand. idk why, but for example, you were at Kareah for destroying monitors quest, still you may get a reward for bounty who was at grim hex. so, to get a chance to free reward. just accept as many bounty quests as you can. and let it go.

If you are buying a system for Star Citizen I would suggest you look at the latest telemetry. Reliant Tana, most if not all of the bigger ones like the 'Lancer, specially it's MIS varient, Gladius, Arrow, Buccaneer but the wingtips are always going to be fixed, Hornet.

You are but unfortunately the selection is pretty limited and the stuff you'd hope would be available isn't, and in game prices are pretty crazy. The cheapest thing with decent cargo is the Cutlass Black and it's like 1.9m aUEC, not exactly practical to grind for unless you already have a $100+ ship to do it with, and frustratingly there's no Avenger, 300i, or Reliant to use as a stepping stone. Ship rentals are coming with 3.6 and hopefully they make the situation a lot better for people who only have a starter.

I just tried this mission in a Super Hornet and I wasn't impressed. I destroyed one beacon, and the second wouldn't die to about 30 seconds continuous fire. Pirates then attacked me and I didn't have enough time to do anything!

I tried the Hornet in 3.5 and noticed the gunfire does not meet the center pip. I am sure it will get patched soon.

Npc bounties can make around 6-8k in under 10min ans they keep appearing once you complete one.

I think bounty hunting is by far the easiest way to make early cash. I say early because they do ramp up in difficulty. But it shouldn't be too difficult to make 70-90K in an hour or so. Why is that well you don't have to do a lot. Just be in the vacinitiy of a bounty hunt and you'll get the aUEC when the person dies. So you just have to keep travelling to locations where the bounty hunt is and hey pesto more mullah! Easy money.

That's probably a good thing. The vast majority of us have inanimate objects stuck between our legs and cannot remove it without a wipe. I'd hate to be told they fixed things getting stuck but cannot remove those already stuck without a wipe millions of UEC and ships in. I'm looking for a life partner. An MRE is not what I had in mind.
