Star Citizen - ATLS Bomb Launching Post Nerf

After the 33% reduction in throwing force, I tested bomb throwing again. A1 bombs still work in Hurston. For the A2 bombs, less gravity is needed or a greater height.

@@comradelemon6928 It is an open world zone, basically a hot spot for pvp activity. Used to be able to do drug runs for a shit ton of currency but they have that disabled I think.

The reason you will never see anything cool like that is simple: players.

You will see a flash and then a burst then that's it just like this bomb, why because there is no air so you wont see a mushroom cloud. No air no way to feed the burst.

They need to make the explosion plum slower and last like 9 times longer. It flashes too fast and burns out waaaaay to fast for realism.

See that lag spike (the sounds chops up and sometimes there are weird squares) just as it blows up? I'm pretty sure that's why it doesn't XD Now imagine 80 other players around during jump down and someone decides to drop 4 of these at once, while an enemy ship also drops 4 more.

Dev1: Lets give the players a more useful tractor-beam to use for loading and unloading cargo. Dev 2: Would it hurt anything if we gave it the ability to 'toss' stuff as well instead of relying on only the tractor push/pull? Dev1: Nah.. it'll help them chunk things out into space quicker. Players: Bomb go Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Your friend drops it ( launches ) from A1/2 and you stand below and catch it with Atlas. It is possible.
