Arena Commander is a mode. SC has much more to the game. The Aurora is a great ship, its not all about guns. This will balance out once we get more modules.

the big downside of the Aurora LN is you no longer got a super view in bed wits you got wit the odder Aurora du to the bigger power plant blocking your view of the window

They've stated that crew size isn't the factor of how many can be on a ship only how many to run it effectively. so you could use the LN or Beta like a clown car if you wanted. or any other Single seat ship with walkable space.

Hey +Tactical Advance, do you know the difference between the different manoeuvring thrusters on the CL and LN? The CL has a *4x TM-4 Slider* and *4x TM-4 Roller* whilst the LN has just the *8x TM-4 Slider*. No idea what the difference of these are, and can't find the info anywhere

when i look at a ship like this i cant help but get that feeling of my first car, it was beat up rusty, even if u got onto the high way the thing felt like it was going to fall apart,lol the good old days right.... even tho it was complete shit of a car i loved it. and thats the way i feel about the aurora, small under powered going to fall apart ship, and thats the way it should be.

Do you have your system specs somewhere? I'm curious what kind of system can hold 60+ FPS in this game. ATM my single 780ti can't quite keep it above 60 FPS at all times. :/

Thanks! I have a 4770k as well. Running at 4.8Ghz and 16GB of RAM. It may be the Nvidia drivers. People have recently reported a nice bump with the new AMD drivers. Thinking about picking up an AMD card with the next gen.

FishFPS I would suggest that you get a on screen display of your hardware going using something like a combo of MSI afterburner and HWinfo64. You can check and see how your hardware is being affected in real time. a 780ti should be able to overpower a 270x. Especially with gpu boost. However you need to make sure the gpu is being kept cool. I found that my 770 easily runs into the 80's quickly forcing it to underclock, but with msi afterburner you can set the fan to run a bit higher. Now it never exceeds 55 C :D But personally i found that my processor is holding me back quite a bit (im running a old I7-930 2.8ghz) and tested between my gtx 770 and a HD 7950. both ran about the same, but the game runs almost perfectly when i put my 7950 into my brother's new rig running with 4 gigs less ram and a FX8350 overclocked to 4.6ghz. Long story short, do a bit of testing. You might find something useful.

Just a suggestion after watching quite a few of your videos, some people might like it but you seem to take a really long time walking around the ship not really saying anything. I feel like it would work better of you made a list of important or interesting points before hand and just listing them off.

posting in spetember 2015, im sad that the LN's whisker mounts currently can only have S1 guns. i really wish it could have four S2s. make it much less crap at actually getting kills, especially given its low speed for a fighter. its great hat it can have up to S3 shields, but being able to absorb shots doesnt do much for you if you cant blow up the guy shooting at you. and since the whisker mounts are limited to S1, you cant have a gimbal mount there since theres nothing to reduce to. S1 there would be more tolerable if it had the option for precision aiming with the mouse with omniskies or bulldogs. but as a joystick user, id love to have badgers on the whiskers and up on the wings. or S2 omniskies on one pair of hardpoints and badgers on the other

+Tactical Advance even so, say you put a jump drive and some cargo space on your LN and are out exploring or running a delivery. suddenly you get jumped by a couple pirates like in the freelancer comercial. they will likely out maneuver and outgun you despite you having (most likely) S3 shields. guns are not everything, but the ability to remove a threat i think will be very important

+shadowsa2b The difference is the lower IR signature. I suggest run or hide. If you come up against a ship thats bigger than you, your going to get wrecked if you try attacking it.

+TitanFallout Mustang has more speed and easier to maneuver. Aurora seems to be bulkier in the sense of it isnt as fragile, as well as it can carry level 2 guns on its little wings. But the Aurora is slow and doesnt turn as easily was well as there is not HUD for shields.

It surely will be enough to quickly earn the money for something bigger and more specialized. Don't worry too much about falling behind because others paid more. You will be able to earn bigger ships in game and most people have one of the small starter ships. The people spending thousands upon thousands or even just 100-200$ on ships are just a vocal minority. CIG released a statistic not so long ago. The average user spent about 50 or 60$ on the game so you'll be in good company.

Hard to say if it'll be worth it to upgrade from this to the Avenger at the moment. Currently waiting to see if the Avenger will lose its T5 main thruster when its brochure is released.

I have a theory about this ship. Let's say you squeeze in 6 people (one by one of the doors, three behind the pilot chair, one in the bed, one pilot), manage to force dock onto a freelancer and then raid it with 6 people ( freelancer is a 4-man ship). Do you guys think people are going to try doing that and fool other people into thinking they're starters when they are just pirates squeezed into a party van?

I don't think you will be able to carry more than one person in atleast that version of the Aurora due to the life support only supports 1 person as far as i know. I don't think you would be able to cram your ship full of people.

I find it strange that I constantly see comments like "Upgrade to the connie/aurora/freelancer". Some of us just want to play the game dammit. All the money you spend on these ships can still be brought in-game. While I understand that you're supporting the games development, I don;t understand why anyone would spend $150 on a game.

Tactical Advance. What has gone wrong? I used to enjoy seeing what you've been up to in The Forest, DayZ, Arma etc. Now it's all Star Citizen and I think your place in my subs list has expired. I do like SC, I've got it! I just think flight test after airframe review after flight test is just not interesting. Throw in some Elite Dangerous, it's released, playable and awesome. Tactical Advance - trapped in the blinkered arena of a game that promises so much but gives very little, what a fall from grace.

Nothing has gone wrong. Life changes and situations. I don't have the time to play lots of games any more i work 12hr days at work 6 days a week. One game fits well in to my schedule. I don't have the money to not work and just make videos. Also my channel is doing better now then before. I like Star Citizen as well so i am extremely happy with what i am doing and i believe i found my place now.
