Star Citizen's Sabre Firebird a fantastic looking ship and fairly niche. This ship is fast really fast and it is of my opinion, that like a fine wine this ship will age really well as Star Citizen matures. BUT what do you guys think? As always let me know down below!!

A sleek design ghost ship that can send a barrage of missiles at your adversary and fast enough to get out of there before your enemy knows what hit them. What's not to like about this ship? Great video by the way.

Used it in Xenothreat. Even did some dogfights with the NPC ships there. But changed it with Laserguns, so you don't run out of ammo. Really nice ship.

Having a domestically designed competitor to the Tevarin Talon Shrike seems natural. A stealth strike fighter for hit & run missions where an Eclipse would be too much. So we have those missions in game yet - no, but they will be. Good video!

I look at my Firebird like the Rogue class of MMORPG's. Stealthy and packs a crazy backstab.. but a can't fight face to face. Love blowing things up with 6 missiles before they even detected me.

I was doing great in xenothreat with this ship. The stock guns didn't do so well, but the missles were great against the light to mid-size fighters. Zero regrets.

I feel it is a small ship bomber like how the eclipse is the big ship bomber. Both great ships in my opinion. Both specific uses. Thank you for the video.

I do love this ship. It does encapsulate the spirit of the Raven (quite literally). You can even see it in its shadow and MFD.

I love the idea of this as a ground attacker. Component placement at the top is smart for making ground strikes to add a little more protection. Hide your ground based air defenses or kiss them goodbye because this is Star Citizens ultimate "wild weasel" attack ship. 🚀

Ultimately will work best as soon as your buddies can marke targets for you to lock from beyond scanner range, otherwise detecting a ground vehicle solo puts you well within detection and inside the minimum launch range. Some day

Top drawer review as expected. I love this ship and it does well in dog fighting if you can stay close which MM’s helps with these days. I’m probably not in the minority when I say I put Strife Mass Drivers on this thing and snipe from 5km away while keeping out of detection range. Hilarious as you follow up with a volley of missiles and no one knows where you are 😜 I do think the new design of Sabres makes the Sabre fighter look clunky and last gen. I think this is the MOST stealthy or one of the most stealthy ships in the game currently isn’t it?

I use the Firebird daily and can say it is an extremely powerful PvP fighter. It is possible to kill 3-4 light to medium targets and it is a decent scout ship too, because its very difficult to detect. Usually i deactivate my Shields/Weapons and are nearly invisible.

The Shrike, its competitor, can be spawned at small outposts.

I love mine. I have no issues dog fighting with it boost in combat gets you round your enemy’s easily. Try the San tok guns on it .. brilliant

Suprisingly enough the Raven and Firebirb got the interceptor tuning, so at least for now they stomp on the fighters.

Yes I believe they mentioned they were place holders right? Until the tuning teams get hold of them ready for 4.0?

@@PIN-o7 Interesting. I didn`t know that. Hopefully they wont be hit to hard with the nerf hammer, since they kinda need to be able to get inn and out of detection range.

If you put some nice size three cannons on this thing it's actually fairly decent against the light fighter because it's so maneuverable. I have yet to have a fighter be able to get nose on me in this thing if I'm pushing it.

as snub for polaris, then first this ship fires at target and then polaris its torps, if the missiles are shot down first hopefully no time to shoot polaris torps. additionally its a great scanner for polaris, fly ahead see whats up nobody see you cause stealth tell polaris.

Current missile meta Attacker: EASY LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or so they say Size 1-5 missiles/torpedoes 1) You must have a head on approach for best angle and firing solution (EASY) (you know the unicorn of circumstances yea easy lol !) 2) Lock (Easy)(it is easy doesn't need to be if other things were better) 3) Fire as many a possible .....hoping one hits (yea >.> 50 doesn't matter .........if 3 hit doing 2 % dam lol )(EASY) 4) If in a weaker missile boat with low def and guns...... You now run (a missile boat needs to kill with missiles)(EASY) rofl! EASY get my ass handed to me by a snub lol in a big scary missile boat lol ...sigh 5) If you get away and they aren't dead or haven't run away ......try another pass (You die if its a good pilot. >.> you have nothing to fight back with lol.) You're out gunned ... by ...well everything lol)) (EASY) 6) Rinse and repeat (You hope lol)(EaSY) Fact is >.> ......it's easy to be ineffective........... under the current balance. Size 9 (DOA)LMAO "did you hear a fly"? They have very little point now and will just get worse but might become stealth? according to CIG?..............? I think the missiles/countermeasure system needs re working tbh. Lets hope 4.0 has the much needed updates to ship combat.
