Started playing No Man's Sky a couple of weeks ago. OMG what a beautiful thing. No a single bug. No pit of stomach worry that at any moment the game is going to take a sh*t. Having the time of my life. Freakin awesome. Someday many years from now I may give SC another try. Don't miss the anger and frustration at all. I'm in heaven.

I understand all of the issues for tests like these, but outside of the PTU, they need to offer an offline/private server option. I'm so sick and tired of the performance issues. When they want us to (painfully) test their goddamn servers, they need to reward us for our time. We are helping them make their game, after all, both with our time and literal money.

The regular PTU with the new ships and IAE halls has been unplayable for several patches now for MOST players. The servers cannot handle the entities, let alone the average SC player who ends up locking up their CPU🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

lol these elevators, i had this prob for months, havent played the game in six months, and honestly not feeling any desire to play it. 100gb game is a waste of disk space tbh. no idea why their programmers can sleep at night. they are doing shady stuff with these elevators, thats probably the simplest thing to program and making it networked adds no complexity, its just a state machine that goes to one floor at a time and some intermediate state for doors open/close, they also have a fifo pool based floor selection. so really what is there to debug in an elevator, they probably lock them on purpose when servers are crowded cause this is so simple it cant contain bugs.

imagine not showing early access content as a content creator for this game. showing PU only you'd always be at least a month late and no one would be interested. it's the perfect model for CIG. they can reject all criticism saying this is a test version you are showing. they hardly make changes when it goes to Live though. it's basically just early access they are selling. btw, you've been waiting for this expansion for 5 years! this is what you get in wave 1 early access. 5 years! and you are acting like they will fix this in a few months now going to Live.
