It already felt like CIG were being cheeky with the Eclipse CCU when we've got the Starlancer MAX WB already, but listing the MIS when we've got had the Zeus WB up for the last month is a kick in the nuts. I think this IAE might end up being pretty inexpensive for me this year.

The supercollider is for upgrading components for other ships like warpdrives, wrapons,shields,and jumpdrive typed components. either way its not fleshed out. Great video Thank you 😁

@20:00 what you read makes it seem like that room *_*isn't*_* meant to overclock the Endeavour, but rather it's a crafting room to overclock *_*any*_* component. Bring a component to the ship and hit it with a hammer until it's a better version.

CIG used to sell an Endeavor "master" set for $1000 with LTI and all modules including two greenhouse/farming modules.. Presumably one could assemble all the OC preconfigured variants (Endeavor Discovery, Endeavor Hope, and Endeavor Olympic) as well as DIY combos, for those who REALLY want to play Legos in space. 🍻

Hey Zi-Tek! I'm new to the ccu stuff, but found your videos this week for IAE! I was looking at getting an Ironclad, and used the site to build a chain, but I wasnt sure if it was worth going straight up to the Zeus in the chain while it was available on warbond right now. Thanks for the videos, a fascinating and detailed look on the subject!

if your purpose is to reduce the cash leaving your wallet, don't buy any part of your chain as a ship unless it's the start of the chain and an LTI token. I wouldn't recommend buying something like the Zeus as the beginning of a chain even though it's LTI and a slight discount. If you want to have a usable ship now and plan on eventually ccuing it into the ironclad after all the other links make it into your hangar, the it's fine to do what you are suggesting. If you have a fine starter ship I'd just stick to it and try to minimize dollars spent over time. Having said all that, upgrading your starter ship to a Zeus is a fantastic idea as it is a great ship. CCU to it, with a chain and separately build a chain to the ironclad is what I would do.

I think these science stations allow you to create one time use overclocked blueprints which you can use or sell. This is say how an overclocked power plant is built. Obviously,the endeavour module subject to time and materials would allow you to turn out repeat blueprints. Also, there will be a skill level aspect so as you get higher skill the overclock blueprint will be better.

With single WB CCU being made available on any given day, it will probably be a Carrack or something. Doubting the Terrapin Medic will get one at this point. Maybe they are watching the sales until the Finale and will "adjust" the quantity during that time. Here's hoping.

I grabbed 2 Endeavour ccu's purely for price speculation. But the Mis was miss since Zeus was there and grabbed those ccu's awhile ago.

Yes the MIS has been a ccu warbond. Unfortunately, i wasted a few ships and other items to get it.

Sales this year are meh and the servers are usually bad during IAE but this is next level. Couldn't leave hab, couldn't backspace kill and then got locked into my spawning bed on the next server.

I believe that the overclocking facility is for crafting. once we can make ship components, the blueprints require research into them. I think beyond this they will be able to get a lil more "umph" of of each component so that it can do better than something it's size normally can. Separately, you've mentioned the BIS ships in your last few vids. Do you think they will all be getting warbonds like in years past? If so It appears that the upgrade store is readyfor that. I don't see the terrapin as an upgrade TARGET at all right now.

I have no proof or inside info on the BIS warbonds but it makes sense based on the past few years. Also with none of the other possible final 4 ships showing up yet I am hoping they hold true to the last couple year's schedule.

I think that $125 Endeavor Collider is going to be to "overclock" components for crafting. Not sure what that will mean, but maybe it helps you raise the tier of already-crafted ship components or improve the stats of component blueprints or something. I don't think it is just for the Endeavor's own components.

Unimpressed by lack of warbond ccu's this year, compared to last year this is poor to say the least, I have to wonder if by announcing the ship insurance plans for 1.0 at citizen con they have changed their strategy and now will focus on 10 year standard prices.

The Endeavor modules have been on sale before. Do you know if the limited ships can be bought with a store credit or as upgrades?

Limited ships cant be bought as upgrades (CCU). As for store credit its usually one thats standard and 1 thats WB version. The store credit ones go asap from what Ive been told. I never buy ships outright so i havent ever been directly involved in it. It takes like 10-20 seconds to sell out apparently.

If you get the Reclaimer to Prowler or the Terrapin to Max, when they get their BIS warbonds will you be able to use that BIS warbond in place of the normal one that you started with? I've never understood how that works as they are always listed as separate things on the from side. I hope you understand the question as I'm not sure I worded it very well.

Previously BIS ship were special edition variant of each champion ship but now its WB CCU for standart edition ship + they give you special BIS paint for champion ships

Like @nyakssj1370 mentions. They no longer have special BIS edition ships or CCUs because of the downstream problems it causes so now you get the WB for the normal ship and they throw in the BIS paint as part of the purchase.

Glad to "hear" it! Was worried it might be too loud but testing was on par with random speech on other far more professional YT vids. I found the issue, basically recording was fine but my mixing app (Davinci) had my mic turned way down for some reason. Always hoping but with this lackluster of an IAE I am doubtful of anything in the $40-$90 range hitting.

Meh... It's a skip for me... I already have several copies of the Vulture, Retaliator, and Zeus - all at $175... and I don't care about the MIS itself... So far, very disappointed in the CCUs this IAE...

It seems this is the overall sentiment. Lots of great ships released and the same WB CCU throughout the year might make this IAE the worst sales event in a while. I am channeling all of my hopium for the Finale!
