Man that was actually exciting! I engaged in my first real combat today during blockade runner and it was a thrill. I'm looking forward to more in the future. And I'll probably run into some pirates but it's all good fun for the most part.

It suddenly occurred to me that one of the things I love about the Ludicrous Space Game Piracy Action videos is the ongoing background mic-exchanges between Nirv, Phair, and the gang. It reminds me of the old NASA films where mission control science-dudes keep a running commentary on the precision and expert sciency-manoeuvres being flawlessly performed before our very eyes. Except here it's a calm and expert description of the latest chaotic space adventure Voidy has got himself wound up in, where physics applies only loosely, battle is mainly RNG, and any given moment can be accurately summed up by the bon mot: "Whoops".

Hate how bullet spongy the fps game. He literally threw a grenade at you and you didn't die. It's not that I don't want the bullet spongyness but I want Heavy Armour to be tens of times more expensive.
