You are incredibly inspiring to me as both a lore nerd and actual writer. You perceive and describe the world of Star Citizen in such a thorough and convincing way, as if you're actually in universe. It really makes the game feel a lot more deep and meaningful than it actually is right now. Gives me new appreciation for the ships I fly, the stations I dock at. so if i see this correctly, you can make a stealth loadout for the shrike, stay at range, and pepper enemys with missiles while beeing untargetable. good thing missiles arent going to be fire and forget, this would become the meta very quickly.

I could totally see wings of the Talon and Shrike being deployed on a D'deridex! Romulan warbird decloaking "oh no" A small cloud of talons and shrikes detach from the D'deridex and form up in combat formation around the warbird "OH NO!"

The Shrike's heavy missile loadout and reduced cross section will make it perfect for taking out Ground bases and ground defenses (Balista has a size 0 radar) before the target can scramble fighters

resque lissions would be funny. Once player ejects there is resque mission to close by players interested and if you lock out your character will be unconsius and you have to deliver them to space tation and gain some short reward

Pronunciation is often colloquial and regional (Aluminium). Look forward to seeing all the ships with their detachable pods, sometime in the future. I wonder if we will get a Tevarin Carrier to carry a Shrike squadron.

Ohhhhh yeah, it's very similar to that, I hadn't noticed I've been listening to the audiobooks, so I'm not sure how its spelled, but it's pronounced like "Tah-veer-in" (veer like to veer off the road)

its to compensate how it loose all ability to fly once one wing is destroyed, yes it have a lot of HP but its with all parts taken into account, and the ship is quite big for a light figter when you compare it to a arrow for example, the talon is dangerous, but it can easily be destroyed if shot by ballistic guns, once one wing is gone you start loosing control and turn like crazy its almost not possible to control it,

I love the deign of these, and if I got one I'd get the Talon. I kinda hope they nerf the missile capacity of the Shrike, considering how small the ship is, and how much space is dedicated to missiles on the MIS... I really just don't see how it could physically fit that many missiles in the Shrike. I think a good change could be 18 S3 missiles, and bump the hardpoints up to S3. Almost certainly going to be getting this in-game one day. A Psuedo stealth fighter with 2 Revenants sounds like a blast
