I'm glad it was helpful to you. Quantanium mining can be daunting at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's one of the most lucrative and relaxing ways to farm credits currently available.

Great little tutorial. Even learned a couple of new things myself! I would add that the passive modules, some are very expensive, will be lost if your ship gets destroyed or you claim it. Only the laser head will be retained. I’ve lost quite a few already after ship was destroyed via quant going critical just after landing, (still plenty of time on the clock)…😢 This usually happens when you have a full 32scu of quant on board. I’ve had to not be greedy and suck up some inert material to keep things stable.

You can always move back so your laser looses efficiency so you do not overheat rock.

How do you keep your Prospector at one place ? Mine always drifts 3.17.4

If the planet/moon has a nasty storm its tough.. Sometimes Hitting "K" to switch into VTOL mode will assist in keeping steady!
