I've been watching your video over and over because you explain the stardelta power and control clear. I just have one question from what you did when you connected the interlocking wires on the auxiliaries of contactor 2 and 3, you used the normally closed on both, when I thought one must be the open auxiliary. Please explain.

The star and delta contactors must be mechanically and electrically interlocked to avoid short-circuit during transition of the motor stator connections. The mechanical interlock depends on the type of the three contactors

how does the delta coil energise if nc contact of star becomes no when timer goes off?

Once Button Green is pressed..current will flow from NC Timer (Terminal 26) will go to NC Delta (Terminal 21 and 22) and go to A1 Star coil…thus Star coil energized and at the same time NC Star coil (Terminal 21 and 22)become NO because the Star contactor is ON… After a few seconds, NO Timer ( Terminal 28) will energised and NC Timer (Terminal 26) not energised and current will flow to NC Star coil ( Terminal 21 and 22) and will flow to A1 Delta Coil..when Delta Contactor is ON, coil is pushed ,thus NC Delta Coil ( Terminal 21 and 22) will become NO..this is the interlock..
