This little trip was 100 miles each way so it was quite a long day out...I love the Koi but haven't got room anywhere for a pond so I tend to stay with tanks, it was the biggest thing I missed when I was living in the Philippines!

I think in uk heater on for 12 months so electricity billa goes up because in asia we put heater in winter only for 3 4 months and my heart pounding after see electricity bills..beautyful ryukin👍👍👍👍👍

Hello mate and thanks for watching, there were Koi there but they were in a basement that was poorly lit so wasn't a good area for filming, probably just as well otherwise the video would have been a lot longer hahaha!

Great fish but those prices! It's very hard to find nice fish here in the states but when you do the prices are high as well. $40 US is about as much as I'd be willing to spend with my budget. I've recently spent $20 (each) on some decent fish and it was worth it.

You're right there mate, they are expensive, they are probably trying to get back some of the import costs they had to pay out!...The fish I usually buy are the tropical Discus and I usually pay about 60us$ each for them

@@MakoyUnggoy Pet shops are not that common in the provinces I guess, even if there is one, chances are the'd have a very limited variety of fish. Here in Manila, there's lots of pet shops selling fish and if you know the right people, you could go straight to the breeders for better prices ie, around 1/4 to 1/2 the going rate in shops.

@@justinstuart8382 I bought a couple of smaller Ranchus that were good quality but there wasn't any more I would have personally wanted...I've seen just as nice fish in my local shop for less than a quarter of the price of some of these...The price is so high here just because a lot of them are foreign imports
