May I ask what it is that makes the original better than the 3Ds remake? Is it the older style of graphics, I myself find myself fond of the N64 graphic style despite not growing up with it. Or is it the control? I know they had to make some compromises due to it being on a handheld. Not sure if this comment will get a response due to how old the original comment is, just figured I'd try to get a response.

Funny how Dan Owsen (of Nintendo Power magazine, Zelda/Earthbound English text localization, and "Ask Dan" fame back in the 90s) returns as a voice actor in the game, as he previously did voices for the original SNES game. (Though, they only talk during the ending.) Meaning Dan was the first voice of Fox McCloud before Mike West. Dan also voiced the brief opening narration for Super Metroid.

Agreed. It's one of the last lines we hear Fox say, and the fact that he cuts the general off in the original says a lot about his character and his mindset after the events of the story. It's very elegant, purposeful writing. I wonder why they changed it.

Why does the second half of the credits (exclusive to the 3DS version) just have a black screen? They couldn’t have shown some more footage of the Star Fox team relaxing or something? It would fit the music. As it is, the part of the credits that were in the N64 version is great, but the second half kinda drags for me.

I really hated that credit sequence honestly when I first beaten this game when it came out. Not a big a fan with just a black BG as well. Oh well someday someone will Rom hack this game to at least include some crude animations of the crew doing so.

I never noticed that. Can't help it but to tear a bit. Mr. Yamauchi "discovered" Miyamoto and encouraged him to make games. Because of that, we got Star Fox (and so much more). Thank you, sir.

It is the only Star Fox series game that has been translated into Korean and released in Korea. It's been 11 years since it came out, but Star Fox is not very popular in Korea yet. I wish a day when it becomes popular in Korea. Also, I hope Star Fox Adventure 3D and Star Fox Assualt 3D will come out.(I hate Star Fox Command) From South Korea. (I used a translator because my English is not perfect.)
