Mission 9: Storm the Aparoid Homeworld
The Cornerian Armada commands the skies above the Aparoid Homeworld and is making advancements into their territory. The entrance into the heart of the planet is protected by a base and a powerful shield. The Starfox team has been deployed to the surface of the planet. Capture the base and turn off the shield.

Final ground mission and to be honest, if they want to cloud this game with ground missions, they should have been like this. This is the only ground level where it was considered "difficult" and that's because I was derping around near the end instead of actually trying to survive. I wish the ground missions had bigger objectives like this, forcing me to actually travel the entire map. Ah well, final mission after this.

I find this mission pretty boring but damn, that seen with Peppy crashing the Great Fox. That's nuts.

The fact that the Great Fox blew up the level we were just in (aka where we had to kill the hatchers aka shield generators) kind of made this level feel pointless...like, gee, should have just done that at the start and would have accomplished the objective and saved us a lot of trouble.

It is boring it's wrong u destroy yellow balls why make it epic put a generator I think the land missions are boring because of the enemies you fight I just saw a bunch of flowers go by star fox should use star foxy weapons not a machine gun and a sniper rifle the enemies are wierd they don't suit the star fox setting they should give us weapons star fox would use why don't they give us the gadgets he uses in smash brothers

Had to look this up cause I’m replaying this game for the first time In years on gold level and kept dying when I had around 5 targets left to those giant shell aparoids. Guess I forgot killing all the other ones around it made it come out of its shell Not gonna lie though I forgot how fun this game actually is and I kinda wish that they’d expand on not only the gameplay with the ground missions but the whole story of the aparoids if they ever make future Starfox games again

Disproportionate=Something too large or small for something else, so its a huge planet but the homeworld is tiny???

I believe that it means that the planet losses either too much or too little mass for its size. It’s likely due to the Aparoids hollowing it out, but when I was younger my family and I came up with a far scarier alternative. The planet is artificial, and if it’s not natural, in all likelihood nor are the Aparoids. They are not merely a species, they’re a living weapon of mass destruction. What this means of course, is that someone made the Aparoids. It’s possible that they are experiments gone terribly wrong, but it could also be that someone did this on purpose. If it was the latter, it likely means that the Aparoids themselves aren’t even the biggest threat after all, but rather the madman (or monkey?) who created them.

@@yamatojoe7327 It's implied to be artificial or that it was almost entirely hollowed out by aparoids. Both are pretty significant. Aparoids were a massive threat, most of the game is damage control.
