Star Fox Assault: The Second Best Star Fox Game

Star Fox Assault is a game that's been nagging at me for a few years now, and after finally playing it for myself, I'd like to share my thoughts on the game with all of you.

I would love a continuation of Star Fox story taking place after Assault and ignore Command where we can explore the fallout of the Aparoid invasion to the Lylat System and how traumatized team Star Fox are.

I don't understand why it's so tough for them to make good Star Fox sequels lol They just need to make arcade-style rail shooters that take it to the next level with bigger and better levels and characters. Basically, just do Star Fox 64 but better. Star Fox Assault is the only other game in the franchise that has come close to doing that, and that's why I think you nailed it by calling it the second-best Star Fox game!

Best Star Fox Game imo. I enjoyed multiplayer with my brothers and my cousin Carlos. We had the best times of our gaming childhood lives with this game. I wish this game became a huge thing like Melee and had tournaments. That be sick.

First... i didn't know than Assault has Actually control options... but, despite that, i still feeling Assault as a... Between Sloooow and Bad in Gameplay Terms... Maybe for you is incredible and all you want to Speak, But... For me, as a Star Fox Fan (Too?) But for very personal reasons, i feel Assault like the ^worst^ star fox game in gameplay terms, and i'm recently played Command on my 3DS thanks to an R4... As a Parenthesis, For me, If i had to aim with Standart controls only (2nd Sticks or Mouse WASD) i really REALLY Sucks Aiming, but... if the game gives to me Unique controls like Command Stylus or Zero's Gyrocontrol, i could finally aim well... ------- I don't Deny the honestly incredible story and character development, because is like the only Truly good stuff of Assault... About the OST, is precious and Beautifull, But it maybe makes me think, than the OST could Possibly ^help^ or force the gameplay to be that Slow... i Mean, In Star Fox 64 and Zero You could go Slow because you want and/or you aren't good enough, But With Assault, doesn't matter how good enough or amazing you are playing at the game, the game slows down for the opera soundtrack and some segment cutscenes... maybe is because the technology of that time but... --------- About Multiplayer, i couldn't play it and... It feels Strange to defend a Star Fox Game for the Multiplayer... maybe if it was a 2015-2021 game, but for a 2005 Game, to be defended for the multiplayer... feels strange... -------- Maybe an Assault Remake with online and Gyro Control option could Work Fantastic on those days... but, honestly doesn't matter how i try, Assault for me, in gameplay terms, is extrematelly ^bad^ Sorry, but, Star Fox is important for me, But Assault, is like the black sheep in gameplay terms... Once Again, I like the Story and Character development, and the ost is beauty, but defend a Star Fox Game for the Story (Not single player mode), the OST and the Multiplayer, feels extrematelly... Akward??? Kinda...
