if you hit brakes repeatedly, especially while the cube is floating... you can eventually go out of range and you have no choice but to lose. similarly.... if you hit boosters repeatedly... you can get so close, you end up INSIDE the mask, and die instantly. kinda an odd glitch thing.

There is a pushbox to put you back, but it's tiny. most of the time the pushbox does not push you back into the battle so you can kinda get past his mask if you tried hard enough..

Still waiting for this game to get a Virtual Console re-release, whether it's on Wii U or the NX! Since Nintendo co-developed the Super FX Chip with Argonaut games, it's rightfully Nintendo's to use! Also, even though the story of Star Fox SNES has been retold in both Star Fox 64 and Star Fox Zero, there are many people that would still like to play the original Star Fox game, myself included!

I have it on emulator and on a physical SNES cartridge. It's fun and surprisingly difficult. I've only ever cleared Path 3 _once_, and that's because the Great Commander (the boss before Andross) has *ridiculously* small hitboxes. You will run out of nova bombs, you will break your wings, and you will want to quit. And I'm not even talking about his final form on Venom, this is about when he's in orbit.
