Even though Star Fox is a glorified rail shooter, this one track makes you feel so much. Not only does it solidify the Lylat System as a real place, but it does make you feel like you truly saved it from a doomed future. It's as if all that is good in this universe and the sheer majesty of it is preserved for future generations, and it is all because of you.

Certainly a dying art in nearly all genres nowadays. Ironic how the endings of these 4-8hr games had such satisfyingly grandiose compositions, yet most of today's 15-30hr games don't think to do the same with their sendoffs (except for 60hr+ Japanese RPGs, even newer ones like the Xenoblade trilogy still maintain the spirit of a grand adventure's-end)
