About this walkthrough:
During this walktrough I'll be taking all alternate/secret routes in the main game, picking up every medal there is to collect, fight every boss the main game has to offer and collect every item that counts towards a 100% complete main game campaign.
About the game:
Star Fox Zero (Japanese: スターフォックス ゼロ Hepburn: Sutā Fokkusu Zero?) is an upcoming 3D scrolling shooter video game developed by Nintendo and PlatinumGames for Wii U. After a delay from November 2015, the game will be released worldwide in April 2016. It is the 6th installment in the Star Fox series. Lead producer Shigeru Miyamoto stated the game is neither a prequel nor a strict remake of the first game, while Nintendo stated it is neither a sequel nor a prequel to the series. A standalone tower defense game, Star Fox Guard, will have a digital download code bundled with the game.
Star Fox Zero largely follows the classic gameplay of its predecessors, such as Star Fox 64, in which players control Fox McCloud as he pilots his Arwing craft through various levels. The game is controlled using the Wii U GamePad, with the left control stick used to maneuver the craft while gyroscopic controls can be used to aim weapons. A cockpit view is displayed on the GamePad's screen to assist with aiming.

Yeah that’s what I heard, never had a wii U, but the way it looks to me seems like a very cool reimagining, all subjective of course but damn that soundtrack is 🔥🔥🔥 Had hopes of Nintendo wising up and at least rerelease/remaster it for the switch after complaints about the gyro stuff. Never understood why they put so much emphasis on a shtick like gyro and not give options for normal controls. That’s straight up idiotic. And it sucks they brought it out for wii u bc I always hoped for a sf64 reimagining like this😩 Actual dogfights vs star wolf? f yeah 💯💯😁

I really wanted this game to be better. I don't hate it as much as others do myself, but even I can't help wishing that it was closer to 64 in terms of controls. I really hope they can find some way to port this to the Switch, because I like just about everything else in the game. The music (while I preferred the 64 remixes in Assault) is amazing, the orchestra they got for this was fantastic. The visuals really shine, it's like 64 but enhanced, that goes for the characters too. The characters' voices are similar to 64's as well with a few returning voice actors like Fox's. I like everything they have going here, it really feels like a proper SF64 successor. I just hope they can propel the franchise forward with a new game that doesn't have controls binded like they were in this game. It's an interesting concept, I didn't mind playing it, but I and I think everyone else in the end wants a game with traditional controls. If there's one thing I think we can all agree on was a terrible design choice, it was forcing the dialogue channel to only be played through the gamepad speakers. Sure, it's kinda immersive for the Gamepad to play the character voices closer to you than the rest of the audio, kind of makes you feel like you're in the Arwing. But viewing recorded gameplay videos is pretty popular, and being able to record both the character voices along with the rest of the game was a bit of a needless hassle. Would have liked the option to play all audio through the TV.

I agree in almost everything you say man, especially the part about forcing the voices to the gamepad speaker. But I kinda like the controls, I wouldn't mind if there where some controller options for those who didn't like the controlls though. Happy to hear you like the game overall though, many who ways they straight up hate it, which I think is a bit too harsh :)

It's beneath a container that is toppled over a building on the left side. A tank is guarding it. I'll soon post a video about it .

The audio that is missing is the voices, right? The reason for that is that the voices are comming from the Wii U Gamepad, which wasn't possible to record via the elgato gamecapture device.

You only get medals for completing missions and their different mission objectives. But a certain amount of medals unlock different bonus stuff, 10 medals gives you one thing and all 70 medals unlock something special ;) And yes you can get mission accomplished on all main missions :)
