hello! thanks for including us in your videos! the Box Set is meant as a starting set and has room to add in your favorite expansions into it to have a quick and easy way to store and setup to play a game. For hardcore Star Realms fans, we have the Star Realms Universal Storage Box which has dividers and room for every expansion plus it fits a rolled up playmat too.

Can you confirm the term "core set" singular term Is the same as getting the first two tuckbox starters a long time ago? Or is the current corset in deckbuilding box different? I really want to know how thise tuck box antiques fit into the playing collection with this.

Yep since we have everything only had to add the big storage box, but really like the deluxe edition. Could get it online but still not sure if we are getting a review copy of the Legacy game so had to do the $30 pledge.

How do you tell each expansion and its associated cards apart? Are there marks on each card? Or is it generally by the color of each card? Scenario: If you were to mix all 16 x expansion packs with the core sets (i.e. Frontiers, Colonies, etc.) for a game how hard are the cards to separate from one another back to their proper individual expansion packs?

There is a small icon in the bottom right corner, example high alert is yellow with an h inside of captain wings.

What did you end up doing with your duplicate cards? I want to pick up some expansions but hate the idea of tossing unused cards.

Think I still have them in the box, if needed I just throw them in the recycling bin, I'd offer on ebay or BGG but the cost plus shipping it would probably be cheaper to buy a new base set.

I can't tell if the "core set" came with box set is the same as my two tuck box sets from release of the game. I can't figure out what I need to keep together, and what are duplicates or can mix in

The new Starter Box includes all of the cards from the Star Realms Core Set (original tuck box) and Gambit Set (small pack with new cards and co-op)

References are for a singular tuck box core set, but the starters were 2 player and named differently and you needed each one to play 4. So is the "core set" the combined cards from BOTH starter tuck boxes? And so the starter box here replaces those two starter decks completely ​@@GettinJiggly

This looks like an interesting game. I was looking into trying this game out. I prefer the coop/solo way to play. I will mostly be playing solo. It looks like the Frontiers stand-alone expansion is the way to go for me. I like having variety though and was wondering what expansions would work well with Frontiers? It looks like you had several expansion that you didn't bother even sleeving. Is that because you don't use those as much? How does adding in the expansions work? Do you just pick and choose the cards you want?

We haven't played the others yet, I sleeve as we play them. Unfortunately can't say what will work best. I know the decks with commanders and events aren't as recommended because they are not balanced in the boss mode. There are a few BGG threads talking about it.
