Something special with a straight six, side drafts and a high lift cam. First racecar I wa sin, as a teen, was a 240z with Weber 55 and a high lift cam. Decasdes later I got an E46 M3 for track . Straight -6 NA is special

Love the Kei cars! I think the 2-stroke one needs a new head gasket if it's liquid cooled, and needs to use full-synthetic 2-stroke oil. That's way too much smoke, even when cold.
@aussiebatman4290Ай бұрын
If it's a non-facelift it would be air-cooled. However the facelift water-cooled engines were far more popular.
@Meccanico208Ай бұрын
@@aussiebatman4290 was going by the color of the smoke, it had a lot of white in it. If it were too much oil premixed or non-synthetic the smoke would be much more blue.

I have and always been American Musle thru and thru but I've always had a spot for these cars. I remember back in the day when these were ... basically... everywhere. I also remember a time no one could give these away. I had a chance to buy 4 of these for $1K back in the mid to late 90's and I SOOOO wish I had. Live and learn right?

I think it says something about modern cars that so many people prefer to work on (or continue to work on) 70s-90s cars and develop them with new technology and modern processes. The styling, light weight, charm, parts availability and legacy are appealing to both customers and tuners. Modern cars are safer, yeah, but have so much complexity consumers and tuners never asked for. And the looks of modern cars aren't timeless, even if they have lots of gimmicks to show off.
