the dark one is actually a flaxen liver chestnut; it’s similar to silver dapple, however silver dapples are black with the silver gene, whereas flaxen livers are chestnut! White on the tummy and muzzle is called a ‘mealy’ chestnut 💖🫶🏻

They are SO freakin adorable. I wish sso would do something like what they did with the gen3 Friesans where it’s a Jorvik Haflinger and therefore can be other colors besides flaxen chestnut. I love the classic colors of the breed, but the model is so cute and it’d look so good with other colors :’)

@@nadaaqui7407 like i said, jorvik haflinger c: for logical purposes they can just say that the breed has developed in jorvik to include otherwise impossible colorations. i would still want them to have the variety of flaxen chestnuts that is naturally occurring in the real life breed, though. but i get what you mean, some might want to maintain the realistic standards of the breed in game which is totally understandable.

Have you ever played Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild? The horses have great models and animations, which is basically the entire reason I started playing it. For sure recommend if you wanna try any new games with neat horse models >:D

I had a Halflinger named Maz and he was big and stalky but the halflingers on sso didn’t look like him at all so I had to get a North Swedish Horse to look like him and it actually looked just like him, even with these updated ones I still think he doesn’t look like these but oh well 😊

I always watch other people buy horses before I make my decision. I was concerned about the haflingers because the first model was terrible with jumps. I hated training it and have never ridden it since because no matter what I did, the jumps would just fail 90% of the time. After watching this and a couple other videos, I won't be getting one. I can't go through this again. LMAO
