I'm happy I could finish this in time. :D It's been 5 years since SSO went online and I do play this game for nearly the same amount of time. There were many changes during this time so I thought it might be fun to remember old player what the old days looked like and maybe new player will get an impression how the game looked like :)

I don't like how most of the players hate their starter horse. I did have this bond with it because it was the only horse I've had since the start and I still ride it today. The starter horses are great!!

I am a 2018 player and love my starter horse to death, haha. He's the best horse ever for me, i even made a little unique roleplay-like story for him lol, i even tried to make him as unique as possible (avoiding the classic grey horse)

Woaah I'm jelly, I wish I could be with sso from the start! You're such a pro. Damn I just realized how much of a noob I am, I started playing in 2015 xD I had huge fun though and many great memories! I didnt know lot of things in the video. I played a lot of the Star Stable games on cd whole my childhood and got to know SSO in 2012/2013, but I had no idea what an online game is and how to start playing it. Instead I was asking where to buy it. xD Lol, I was also scared of Dark Core quests I watched on yt xD. Not talking about SSL which was a terror to young me but I love it so much!! I miss old SSO so much! Omg

I've played since 2011/5 years, and I remember the old website log in. The stable sounds are such nostalgia... You forgot that the only way you used to be able to open the game was by logging onto the website, before SSO's first birthday.

No you're not the only one sometimes I really miss th quiet days. My server is very crowded so on big updates it crashes all the time but since I'm on this server for my whole SSO life I don't want to change it :/

I love this idea for a video, since it's so nostalgic I have to comment on every point hehe. 1. My dear Snowdream, I rode him for more than 1 year before the Buy Horses function came. I surely have a deep connection with him, a connection new players probably don't have because they buy new horses that looks better. How I wish SSO will give our dear Soul Horses an upgrade! 2. Ikr? The stables were so small back then haha! 3. I can confirm that it did not cost any SC to move to another home stable back then. I used to move to Firgrove only because I was doing the egg quest with Mrs. Packard because I was too lazy to ride xD 4. Yeah, basically no equipment fit for racing. And it wasn't such a big thing either :o When I heard some other people talking about that you should take clothes with Riding and Speed so you could be faster, I felt like a spy and did it as well xD 5. I remember the first champ! I read about on the news, but god damn I couldn't find in later in the game HAHA It was only 1 minute left before I found it outside Moorland xD 6. Duuuuude, people today don't know the pain we had. Training your horse took basically a month, today it takes 5 days. I remember that to get from level 14 to 15 you had to do *all* the races for *THREE* days. x_x Clearly one of the best updates SSO have done! 7. I actually didn't know about this bug o.o On the other hand, I was a "good" player back then and didn't use bugs to my advantage xD 8. Omg yes. You were a "big player" when you came to Golden Hills x'D Unlocking GHV was the big thing hahahah. I also wish they'd expand that area, there's so much potential :( 9. Yeah, it was really cool when they added them! 10. It was actually 4 Game Masters online when they gathered in Fort Pinta that day! I wasn't there at the moment but I remember seeing some Game Master that day :D And yep, that small group of people was HUGE back then xD I basically agree with everything you say in this video! So many good memories :')

Wow thank you so much for taking the time to write this comment. I'm a little honored you watched this video *fangirl incoming* Training a horse was basically a pain. I remember I had the feeling I would never be able to max my horse during the 3 days from level 14 to 15 xD About the bug: Well I don't mind using bugs that don't harm SSO or other players. For example I'm totally fine with things like riding backwards on your horse or the one when your jorvik wildhorse would not change colors anymore but when it comes to the speed bug or the one where you basically walk around in closed areas I can't stand ppl using it and would never use it myself. About GH I'm always hoping they will open up the area some day. Hope never dies! xD About the first SSO birthday: Thanks for letting me know. I think at this point we did not have any game masters on my server or if we did they never showed up xD I also thought there was a video about SSOs first birthday on their yt channel but I could not find it. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong xD

The good old days ❤️ I remember the excitement when the old modeled frezzys came out. You were the popular people if you had one 😅 SSO was my first proper 3D RP game, and I still love it. Played since it first came out, when I was 9 years old. It is a huge part of my life, and my family of horses keeps growing bigger and bigger. Siennastar, Wintergaze, Dangerboy, Hawkeye, Honeydew, Nightshade, Darkprince, Everflyer, Thunderheart, Ravensoul, Autumnwhisper, Embersong, Roserebel, Hotspot, Amethystmist and my starter Skybeam, seem like true family now ^.^

omg i remember that EVERYONE wanted to go in GHV! Me and my friend tried to glitch in there so many times because it was sooo popular and i remember that the place was crowded and that EVERYONE attended the champion GHV. Now its kinda sad because now there is no one there and i think GH champ is the champ with the few players. Like now its only 1 group in the GH champ. :(

Yes that's true. I was so impatient when GH championship place showed up but it literally took months until it was possible to join it. There are more groups on my server but I get what you mean. GH championship is my gavorite championship.

I didn't really unlock golden, steves, valedale, etc until i was a star rider. My mom usually didn't have enough the time i'd ask her, which weren't really a lot of times i asked her. I remember the day i got my membership i was just so estatic and happy. I became a star rider maybe a year or two after playing it for free with my best friend of all time during that game, and i also met 3 more and we'd role play, and then eventually i'd have just those 2 more and we played together on that game almost every day, and the reason i only had like 3 main friends like that was because the forth one got jealous that i was hanging out with those 3 more. the good old days, man. XD

The same thing happened to me, (Just a backstory i played a bit when the game first came out then i stopped and came back in 2016 with a new acc) (My friends i will call Friend 1, friend 2 and friend 3 and friend 4) I didn't have many friends and one day i went to a champ and met 3 people who became my besties, we would hang out everyday and role play for HOURS. After a few weeks friend 1 split apart from me and my 2 other friends so it was just the 3 of us but we still had alot of fun messing around and role playing. We made a club where we met a 4th friend and now it was a group of 4 leaders in a huge club on pumpkin meadow. We all learned dressage and we would practice but then friend 3 started getting a bit mean to me and friend 2 and she would just talk to friend 4 leading me and friend 2 hating friend 4 (omg this is getting hard to write with all the times i say friend) So after awhile we split into 2 groups and friend 3 and 4 were in one club and me and friend 2 left in our club. We would still all hang out sometimes but it was just so different from the old days. Eventually in early 2018 we all split up and i haven't seen any of them since. oml thanks for reading my long to my sad backstory lol

I'm so nostalgic! I joined the day sso came out. OMG! Unfortunately, I couldn't play for a year due to problems with the launcher. This happened again 6 months later. It used to be pretty hard to level up back then, wasn't it? My starter horse, AngelMagic, was the most special horse to me in my home stable. I use her for storyline quests. Thanks so much for making this video!

Whatever you said was true!! first thing was so emotional, I agree with you our starters were everithing for us Whatever horse i buy i never send my starter on a horse island, and that the new horse will be able to come in stable my starter is always in my stable and i ride it a lot so when someone see me on my starter and in my "inspect" option see that i have a lot of new horses with new animations, player start to laughing on me and i was sometimes bullyed because of my starter, i never care about that players because i love my starter, ilove him a lot♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

You know, I'm watching this video a couple of months after SSO's 7th birthday, and I'm thinking how even at the time you filmed this video, things were pretty different. I miss the old days, but Star Stable is becoming a better game still! The graphics of all the new things are really high quality. SSO never do that thing where they use the same model but change the colours for different characters, and they have put many more cut scenes with unique character animations. Loved it! I been playing SSO for about what.. 3? 4 years now? This will be my fourth year celebrating! So happy the games still up and running better than ever, but I miss the old days. Seems SSO just doesn't go by the story line as it used anymore if you ask me. Miss that.

Thank you so much :) Yes a lot of things have changed but I think most of them for the better. I'm also a little critical when it comes to new story content (for example the 'facelift' for the Soul Riders and their family story) but I think they did a pretty good job so far adding new story content that blends in with the story we know from Starshine Legacy. However I do whish they would add more story related stuff. I don't mean like new quests but maybe new druids training or...I would be even happy to close panoric cracks again xD

I’ve been playing SSO for about 4-5 years now and when I first joined, there were only ponies and Jorvik Warmbloods for sale 😅 (AS FAR AS 10 Y/O ME KNEW) I actually didn’t recognise the old stables :’) I don’t know everything as you can see 🙈 Lol I don’t know/remember most of them honestly 🤧 I was 10 ;-; So idk 🤷🏽‍♀️ I never really used a computer before I was 7 (I only played like bubble shooter with my grandma lol) So yeah :) Although I’m not here from the beginning, I still love seeing SSO grow throughout the years.
