Walter Koenig makes a good point about "A Private Little War". As for "Obsession", there's even more to the Eddie Paskey thing than he says - we see his character killed at the start of the episode, but we then see him alive later on in the same episode already! He can be seen where Koenig says, at the engineering station. Paskey said that a scene was filmed but left on the cutting room floor in which his character was brought back to life, but as no other sources support this, I am guessing he was simply making a joke to explain how his character came back from the dead!
