Any series like Star Trek cannot operate for long without the guest stars, extras and behind the scenes people who make it work week in and week out. This a reminder of just how big a family the Trek Universe is. Thank you all for the memories, or your contributions to those memories. RIP to all those who have passed beyond the veil

I was shocked to learn a couple of years ago about Richard Arnold. He was always popping 'across the pond' in the early days of ST TNG with VCR tapes of episodes to screen at UK conventions as it didn't reach our TV for a few years after its debut. Richard brought a tape of Encounter At Farpoint to Bristol in 1987 for its UK 'premiere'...which was about 30 people crammed into the tiny upstairs function room of a pub :). RIP Richard, thanks for all the memories.

I was born July 1968 and got to see star trek reruns when I was very young in fact kirk fighting the gorn was was the 1st one . I was hooked ever since. I know getting older you lose people but that still doesn't make it any better. This show and the actor big and small made a huge impact on me. I wish some of these actors will come back on with all the shows on before they leave us. Shatner is his 90s already. Thank you to all that have left us. Peace

I just ran across this today. Great job it was very interesting. If you ever edit this you might want to add Willie Garson's contribution to Stargate SG-1 as a lot of Star Trek fans also love Stargate and it's many spin-offs. It would have been nice to have added Stargate SG-1 as one of the reoccurring roles Willie Garson was in. Willie Garson played an alien Martin Lloyd from another planet on Stargate SG-1 who lost his memory of his true identity after crash-landing on Earth. After his first appearance in Season Four’s “Point of No Return on 09/08/2000,” he reprized his role as Martin Lloyd in episodes “Wormhole X-Treme!” 09/08/2001, and “200” 08/18/2006.

A very moving presentation. Just one problem... we called ourselves Trekkers, *Not* Trekkies! Trekkie was only used by the media and we scorned it vocally in numerous letters to editors. I was fortunate to have been in attendance at the SF convention, the Tricon, in Cleveland Ohio in late summer of 1966. Gene Roddenberry was there and showed a sneak preview of the first two episodes of Original Star Trek a few weeks before it aired. Thus I feel justified in considering myself one of the 200 or so Original Trekkers in that auditorium. The few, the proud... Live long and prosper!

As Spock would say: "fascinating". I always thought it was Trekkie for TOS fans and Trekkers for TNG fans. Thanks for clearing that up--and you must be a reliable source considering your background story. I'm kind of honored to be responding to an original fan like yourself (you could probably even be considered a "primordial" fan due to seeing Trek before it officially aired). I grew up on TOS, seeing maybe 1 original episode (The Enterprise Incident), before syndication out of Chicago (watching from across the Lake in St Joe, MI). Live long and...etc.

Most famous in recent years for his portrayal of Mozzy in the hit show White Collar. But I do remember him from when he looked a little more than a kid in Quantum Leap. I never forget a face or Voice or at least I used to not be able to forget avoids her face and his was imprinted in my mind from the first time I saw him because he was that memorable.

Darrow I wouldn't call them cameos for say I call it a regular small part in the first season of scarecrow and mrs. King and yes I do remember him from High Chaparral even though I saw it was already in residuals also known as repeats when they used to play in your two later so I recognized him from that before I ever saw him anywhere else I saw him on Barney Miller and when I saw him on the Scarecrow and mrs. King and it's like seeing a familiar face again.

In his later years he became famous for his paintings you could say he gave up 1 artistry for another. The last roll and remember see him in was in a TV show and when she played along with Stacy Keach and I forgot who the third one is I hope they won't feel insulted that my memory is that bad S3 retired vets being shown around and given the Royal Treatment by three young soldiers at a Florida base I forget the name of the show but as usual it was a fox show that was canceled even though it had a very big fan base.

Obviously, you don't understand that Star Trek was "woke" from the beginning. I know, I was there from the first broadcast episode in September 1966. What was "woke" in that era is taken for granted now, or should be, but then, history is probably something that would upset you.
