This is absolutely beautiful! Out of curiosity, I seem to recall that the original model had more of an inverted slant to the edge of the saucer. I'm not trying to nitpick, but I'm curious if there was a design consideration in keeping the edge more flat. I can see how much attention you put into the recreation section interior.

Awesome and breathtaking work, man! Bravo. I had to watch it muted though. I don’t want to be reminded of that JJ Abrams crap while I look at this beauty; being my favorite since I discovered 'Star Trek' in the mid 80’s. Beyond the motion picture features with the original crew, I went on to watch all the other 'Trek' series throughout my childhood, through my teens and into manhood; even coming back and watching the TOS when the digital remastered version came out. But honestly, I try to pretend all those JJ Abrams horrors never happened.😉 I’d suggest you reset the background music to one of the James Horner scores; STII or STIII.

Nothing wrong with the music, some people that post here and complain about music from the "wrong Star Trek", and how it's ruined it for them and they'll never go see another Star Trek...EVER! Well, a few of them are just a wee bit too tightly wrapped I'm figuring. If people don't like the music because it's the "wrong" music, that's what the mute button is for. I'm appreciating the work put into it, nothing more.

@Speedfreakcologne No, these are definitely era-appropriate. They look similar to the type-6, but if you look closely at the engine nacelles and their support struts, you can tell that these are the type of shuttle seen in Star Trek V. In fact, one of the shuttles seems to be the Galileo-5. There are excellent images of these shuttles from many different angles on Ex Artis Scientia.

Who cares if it's the "wrong" music? Consider the work that this guy put into this model, which is all that really matters anyway. He could have put it to Judas Priest "Screaming For Vengeance", as far as I'm concerned. It's his build, his video, his music. By the way that is one excellent model, I know it took a lot of effort and time to make this model, lights and all. Great job!

Sorry 😐 to differ with you @Steven Fenton, remembering of course that were each entitled to our opinions; that being said, his music 🎶 selection was more than adequate, out of timeline for that specific version of the Enterprise yet epic none the less. 🎼 Jerry Goldsmith's contributions to Star ✴️ Trek compositions is nothing in comparison to James Horner, not only is he forever remembered for 🎼 scoring Titanic, he will always be remembered for 🎼 scoring the best Star Trek 🎥 movie ever made Star Trek II:the wrath of Khan. Quite frankly Michael Giacchino doesn't fall too far behind, not only did he 🎼 score equally great music 🎶 for the Abram's Star Trek films he also managed to give the Kelvin timeline its own memorable and Star Trek worthy theme. Just saying of course..
