Can't wait to say it's over. Might just sing Ding Dong the witch is dead for my review.

Well, the Badlands looked different in both Voyager and DS9... DS9 looked more like some kind of orangish atmospheric clouds with fire tornadoes, while Voyager had the vortices and was a pale pinkish color. In general, they looked completely different to each other.

They were the same design. One just made with fire while the other was pinkish plasma. This is totally different, or at least the ol 25%

@@stevearts85 Personally, I always thought the design was lacking the violence one might expect with a plasma storm... you hear them describe it over and over, but then see it and it wasn't the crazy thing it was being described as. B'Elanna even said that the Maquis used to lure Galor class ships in there all the time and they had no where to run, but with how open it is always depicted, it's weird that any ship would have trouble navigating inside it unless it got more violent in some parts than others. I like the more chaotic and detailed look, and since it's also 900 years later, being a plasma storm who knows how it has changed over that time. Maybe those random vortices depicted are there still, just not in the parts we saw, since they appeared very far and few between even in DS9 and Voyager.

The funnels were always Unpredictable so doesn't matter how much space there is when a funnel comes at you unpredictably. The More messy the more unpredictable elements the more danger, of course.
