DescriptionThis a DS9 paperback book, that is read for the blind, and I endeavored to attempt to add some spice to a traditional "books on tape" by adding sound effects, and some music.
I liked this book, so I thought id take another crack at an audio editing project. In an attempt to keep from long delays between the next part of the story, this installment has the remainder of chapters 23- 26 only.
This installment will start "tape 4" with a total of 5 sides in the series.
I hope to have another installment in a timely manner. I hope you enjoy.
Book information:
Published November 1st 1993 by Pocket Books
When Quark holds a poker tournament on "Deep Space Nine" TM someone from almost every sentient race -- Klingons, Cardassians, Romulans, Vulcans, Ferengi -- shows up for what is sure to be the highest-stakes game of all time. But when one player is killed, the stakes get higher than even these big-money players had counted on. With the station rocked by subspace waves that threaten its destruction, Commander Sisko and Security Chief Odo must hunt down the killer in time to save the players, a killer who has information that can save those onboard "Deep Space Nine" from the invisible enemy they do not even know they face, a killer who holds all the cards.
Special thanks to a couple of Star Trek Audio series:

With recent Star Trek news let me also say this is a Fan-made production, and "Star Trek" and the like are CBS/Paramount property, and I'm NOT making any money on this audio production. It just was a fun thing to do.
And the penname Sandy Schofield was the author(s) of this book, and I think they did a good job on this story!

The part where quark is counting chips doesn’t make any sense. It doesn’t matter how many chips people have. All that matters is the winner gets the pot and quark gets 5 percent. When Harding says you promised us a high stakes game but losing these chips lessens the pot. That’s a lie the only thing it would lessen would be how many overall chips were available to the players They may have helped out a player down the road but it has nothing to do with the overall winnings. The writers of this book obviously never played poker and just mixed two different styles together. That is tournament play and sit and go tables.
