Seeing the TOS Enterprise like that in docl reminds me of a Diane Carey TOS book, Great Starship Race I think. Kirk and McCoy in a space station mess but Kirk is just staring at the Enterprise as he rarely sees her from the outside. Drinking the lines in etc. She was more than a ship.

Did you give her an aft torpedo tube at the base of the neck? And are those her foreword tubes on the sides of the secondary hull just behind the deflector?

It is Madkoifish's design and model, however yes, there are the two forward torpedo tubes (as you described) and I also guess one at the base of the neck.

I think the TMP Enterprise was not that dark, had no bridge window, and phasers are there.
