Star Trek Online - Arbiter Battlecruiser T6 - Review

Hello Captains, in today's ship review I will look at the Arbiter Battlecruiser T6 starship. We'll go over the build, looks, and see what this thing can do in combat.

Know many don't. but I really like my T6 Fleet Eclipse. Turns on a dime for a ship its size and with the right loadout packs a nice punch. Next one will probably be the Arbiter.

If you want higher DPS, replace the beam bank with another heavy cannon and use two copies of Scatter Volley II. If you can keep your shields up, you can tank even in an escort. Use Tactical Team to distribute shields, Science Team to repair shield damage. Polarize Shields and Evasive Maneuvers, use as your panic button(s). Get you out of trouble in tight situations.

I use the Iconian shield, deflector, core and engines on my Odyssey Tactical Cruiser that I upgraded to T-5U and it works pretty good in most situations. I also use Iconian weaponry set on it as well which the torp launcher has the chance to buff your hit points by up to 5k extra temporary points. My ship is mostly a tank killing enemies by wearing them down. I have the full dyson reputation set on it as well with the grav torpedoes the proton weapon and the console. It also has the Quantum Catalyst set as well so I attack with a few different energy types. I even have a setup using the dyson sphere rep weapons along with the aegis set that is a R&D development set so the shields adapt to what ever damage and the design overall is made to combat mainly Voth enemies and is excellent at doing that.

I have the Fleet Version of this ship and love it. Brent if you get the Fleet version in the Future I suggest adding the VATA to your build. It will give you the 2 piece bonus that gives you extra weapons power and turn rate.

Hey Brent thanks for the review. The ship is a Battle Cruiser and not a escort :P This was a first day purchase for me and I got the 3 pack with the Klingon Kurak Battle Cruiser and the Romulan Morrigu Heavy Warbird. This Ship is a beast and yes can easily get high DPS with a solid build. The trait is worth the money alone. I use it on every character on every build. I am going to wash your mouth out with soap for even suggesting this ship should have had any other hybrid seat then Intel. You are overlooking one of the most powerful powers in the game Override Subsystem safeties. This ship can slot rank 3 of that ability. As you were discussing powers that would increase your DPS you have the potential to do so much more damage with Override subsystem Safeties. Also given you have the Avenger you could have added the VATA console and received a two piece bonus with the Ablative hazard shielding condole which would give you +15% All damage and +33% Flight turn rate. All in all a full beam build of whatever damage type you like would be superior to a canon build. But for fun I also like to mix canons, torpedoes and beams to make it interesting. I look forward to the next review and as Brent mentioned this ship is worth the money.

If you get the VATA console from the Avenger, you get a 2 piece bonus that helps with turn rate.

To combat the low capacity of the Iconian shields I use consoles that boost shields capacity and regeneration and the hull for energy resistance and kinetic resistance.

Energy engagement is nice. I use the other part of quantum build with antiproton. So the shield engine and something else idr what. But they boost energy damage as a whole.

I think I like my Arbiter/Fleet Avenger more than my Tactical Pilot Escort and Hestia/Fleet Advanced Escort. I recently went back to it after a good run with my T6 Fleet Advanced Escort.

Brother, that ship is sick!! I'd give a lot to have your build. But is there some kind of secret to equipping your items so quickly? I know about the games own key binds, I have fire all weapons if I hit the space bar, but seeing you destroy all in the missions you showed us in this video, well is there some secret to equipping other abilities so fast like you're able to do? Are you ever going to do a video on the messages from Sela that you get when you unlock a tier in the Iconian Resistance Reputation? You went over things in that reputation, but never did a video on those messages. Please do it. Yes, it will be a bit late but it would have helped to understand more for the last episode of the Iconian War arc. Thanks, it will be cool when you get all the messages from the Mirror Universe for the Terran Reputation.

The best looking starfleet ship! Now if they'd just add the freaking structural reinforcement connecting the two nacelles(which all Starfleet designs are stupidly lacking anyway) that would be It, a perfect ship.

I got the fleet version of this ship, I got the krenim warship. Both forward firing ships, both very fun to play. This ship is a bit more defensive. Oddly I use the open slot for science, Both ships have gravity well. I use the Koboli set for the healing, but will try the set from midnight quest. I rarely use the console that comes with a ship, but this one is too good to pass up. Nice review.

Like I said it nethier of Escort or Cruiser it is hybrid. BUt the game called it a cruiser (since it on of the most common ship type in the game)

1 or 2 dual beam bank 180 degree arch cannon the 360 beams and then normal beams for the rest. If you can get 5 of the weapons firing you are doing pretty good plus torpedo.

This ship is a very good ship But let be honest. It New skin look very stupid isn't it I like Avenger skin more. BTW this ship is very good with your old build (Avenger) Beam And to make it better i use Delta sets ANd BTW "I don't have cloak on that" Wait don't you have a Gal X?

my dps is very low compared to this, i have a fleet battlecruiser T6 (which is this but looks like the avenger and has a extra science slot) and the difference between my build is i have mk xii rare antiproton mags x4 in tac slots, and im running aegis set (havent unlocked iconian set) i also have a elite fleet plasma integrated warp core with sss eff amp w->a. and my base dps per weapon is 900, and his is 2000. how? im using advanced fleet antiproton dual beam banks with acc x2 and dmg x2, so how does his phasers do 1100 more damage? dont ask me to put in skill planner i already tried and version 6 is way different then what it used to be and i had no idea where the public build button was. so yeah

o dude those weapon mods, dam, you should have gone [CrtD] [Dmg]x3 for fleet, acc in pve muh. Override subsystems 2 or 3 please.

If your buying weapons of the fleet store [crtd] [dmg]X3 is what you need. From trading post or crafted for feds and kdf [dmg]X2 or 3 [pen] , for romulans any will do also [crtd]X3 [pen] is good because romulans have the highest criteria chance.

crtd 3 pen, crtd 4, crtd 3 crth, crtd 3 dmg are all more useful than triple damage modifiers,esp with a.p. weapons. epic weps have a higher included dmg modifier anyway. Using a single tac slot for Beam Overload 2 (or b.o. 1 on a cruiser at a squeeze ) and exploiter consoles will result in you just blowing the axse off of p.v.e. ships every time you use it. (30ish K damage at b.o.1 to nearer 50K b.o.2 with a single crafty strike) You should check out the price of epic beams on the exchange and see which ones are 20 million and which ones are 70 million,which will back up what I say. Fleet weapons are levelling gear until you can afford or craft epic, (ever wonder why you cannot get crtd x3 fleet gear?) then its crtd for the win.

ACC is the other staple on every epic ship weapon.. The acc trait does not work in beam fire at will so is wasted,and I dont believe beam over load ever misses,but I could be wrong. People counting total damage done per second in a run forget flying about in a crowd of foe with BFA active is spreading damage out over a lot of repleishing shield facings and achieving nothing. Against a single foe ,particularly spamming fighters etc b.f.w is very useful but so is B.O. for crippling/finishing. Beam overload ALWAYS criticals. Check out those prices.

acc proc sorry. And in a crowd beam overload will allow you to whittle down the numbers one at a time and run.Using beam fire at will is like fighting one much more powerful opponent; you will just get killed trying.

+RGMUFC1 Emergency weapons cycle. Its a must have,as is all hands on deck. I know it is tempting to buy Fleet ships at 4 or 5 fleet modules,dont be fooled next time.You can get the fleet version for 1 fleet module on any character after paying 3000Z for a strait T6 ship,as well as the t6 ship on every character.
