A few points: The biggest thing, for a Romulan, is having the trait "Superior Romulan Operative" on all active bridge officers. That's a 2% crit chance and 5% crit severity from each. You may already have some bridge officers with SRO. More can be aquired on the exchange. The fleet new Romulus embassy also sells Romulan tactical boffs with this trait. It's on the rare (not the very rare) male Romulan tactical officer. You can purchase more than one copy of him. The Romulan embassy tac officer can also be purchased for non-Romulan characters. *The 'Console - Universal - Hostile Acquisition' active ability does not negatively impact your ship. The debuffs are applied to the target. So feel free to use it. The -50 damage resistance debuff is very useful. *Your character has A LOT put into survivability. There's Trellium D, a 3-part Kobali set, maxed captain skill points for armor, Ablative Shell, Honored Dead, Desperate Repairs, Invincible, and anything I'm leaving out. It's easy to overstress survivability. I did it for a long time. But I finally grew wiser, after reviewing other's builds. There are diminishing returns built into damage resistance (and a lot of other things). These diminishing returns get increasingly steep after your resistance gets into the 30%s. So a fair amount of what you have can be swapped out for improved DPS. And you won't loose as much as you think. For ship traits, keep Honored Dead. Remove one (or both) of the others. You have the Arbeiter, so be sure to use Emergency Weapon Cycle. it's one of the best in game. Good personal traits can be expensive. But a couple you should aim for are "A Good Day to Die" and "Context is for Kings". AGDTD lets you use 'Go Down Fighting' even when your hull is at 100%. That's a great bonus for a tactical captain. CIFKs gives you damage resistance when you're being fired at, and a damage boost if you are not. *For captain skill points, try for the tactical ultimate. Boosting passive regeneration, such as with Damage Control, is almost useless. It just doesn't work as well as the description implies. Boosts to active repairs also don't give as much as advertised, but are better than passive regen. Don't put the full three skill points into any particular skill that doesn't do damage. As an example, just spend the first skill point in Hull Plating. With Honored Dead and (hopefully) A Good Day to Die, you'll have enough stacking resistance as it is. Move some of your skill points to the higher-level skills. For example, 'Long-Range Targeting Sensors' from the science part of the tree. That's one you can spend three points on. And try to get some cool-down reductions from the bottom row of your skill tree.

Thank you for this comprehensive response I will certainly look to making some changes to my build. It will be too late for tonight's review as I have already recorded it, but I will certainly look to taking some of the measures you have mentioned. At the moment I am building my EC stores back up, but when I have enough I will go shopping for some of those traits you have mentioned. As always, thank you alcibiades for your help it is very much appreciated, I will certainly look for AGDTD and CIFK. I have to say I am in ore at your abilities regarding ship builds, you clearly have a tremendous amount of knowledge with STO builds. Thank you for this comprehensive overview and thank you for your support.

Where can I get that ship what is it called on the exchange can't seem to find it
@JeSterReviews4 жыл бұрын
Sorry this is a C store ship. Or if you are in fleet, which is at the required level and if you have 5 ship modules you could pick up the fleet variant using fleet credits. But the Fleet variant wont have the console of the reputation as you will only be able to obtain this from the C store. Now if you've completed your tier 6 reputations you can claim ship modules from your reputations tabs but only if you've got to the required tier 6. Hope this helps.

Does he ever say what skin/vanity shield that is?

This is not a vanity shield. This was done in the ships tailor on earth space dock.
