My question is this what is the best shield type for cruisers and battle cruisers

This was a good basic budget tank/defensive set (sort of) prior to the Sol Defense set - the only catch was that the warp core came from an event ship that locked everyone out that didn't have the Samsar. I think they noticed that and got the Sol Defense set out for those that weren't able to grab the Samsar event ship. For those that have the full set; it would be either this or the Sol Defense set some people would use on their shuttle crafts or tanks ships - or escorts that needed the extra survivability. I feel for those that didn't get it, and I do wish Cryptic/PWE would bring back some of the former ships via an event unlock for everybody so they can have a chance at it. They brought the old breen ships back once during the event that had the breen carrier as a new unlockable, so I wish they could do that for the others. I'm one of those that wasn't there to get the Risian Corvette or the Risian Luxury Cruiser or even the Malon ship.

The devs have said in previous interviews that they are "working on a way to make them available that is fair to everyone". This means that we may have to grind or pay for them somehow, but it is a matter of time. I personally have advocated for putting them in the lobi store after an event has finished so they are still available for those that missed the event.

Teacher Kirby I shudder at the lobi store idea... some of us don't buy keys and are content with the C-store ships. It could work though... but I am hoping for other ideas. IF it does go to lobi, no choice I guess and start buying keys.

Lobi is better than nothing but I would put them in regular events and spread them out. Not yearly events. I don't think in mmo life spans are to short to do yearly.

I really wish they would add a why to get the console and core even if not the ship. To me it is sad when you buy the command ships and can not get the 4 piece set for the command consoles.

I got the space set last week. I got it down to about 20 min. I do it on console so maybe the plat forming is easier. Ppl hate the mission. Kim is more annoying than the mission being hard I think. Now I have to redo some iconian missions for the rewards and those are long. I did have a lot of choice words during the mission.

On console working through Borg story line and I'm at lvl 60 what is the best story set to equip in your opinion for a engineer? I appreciate your videos thank you

I'm assuming you are meaning budget/mission rewards and that you want to work through the story line without skipping. If that is the case you could use either the Breen or Jem Hadar Set. If you are willing to skip around a bit, I highly recommend the quantum phase set for DPS or the Sol Defense Set for survivability.

Yes all of those are mission drops. The Breen set is available in missions of the Breen story ark. The Jem Hadar is from Operation Omega and Boldly They Rode. Quantum Phase comes from Sunrise and Stormbound. The Sol Defense Set comes from Midnight.

Go to the dilitium store and go to the reclaim tab. I have received 5 kobai warp drive and several kelvin epic consoles. That a great place for free items.

That Mission can be solved very fast, you find the Labyrinth Layout from the Internet and for the Plattforms at the end is a very simple solution (but you have to practice )

The platforming towards the end reminds me of old-school NES games where you REALLY had to get good by memorizing the patterns and timing down pat. It's fucking annoying especially in this game where platforming - even a poor one - had absolutely no place in this type of game due to the control scheme as well as how janky the control can sometimes be. Though it IS kind of funny in a way when it also reminds me of that stupid scene in Galaxy Quest where Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver had to navigate a room full of death traps that had no common sense just to get to the other side.

+Blacksands I love that galaxy quest scene :-D I found a way to ignore The long Plattform path I just have to trigger a single one strip of Plattform And the jump and run my way to the end.

Hugo Bolzer Same here, that galaxy quest scene is both a trope to some older tv shows as well as video games. Totally relatable! LOL

The biggest reason I hate the platforming at the end is my Cerebral Palsy. I just can't do that kind of precision timing. It is an exercise in frustration for me.

+Teacher Kirby you don't need timing that at all. Trigger one Plattform Run to the right Wall "jump" you stand on a ledge. Now Let the Plattform retreat. Now you need to practice Run left and jump over The bump thingy land on the next ledge. (landing is hard) to the next til The end. Or you use that ledge to trigger all the plattforms in the time you need
