Star Trek theme written by Alexander Courage. Themes: 1) The instrumental version used once in Season One from the Where No Man Has Gone Before episode. 2) The Season One theme with William Shatner. 3) The Season Two theme that also included DeForest Kelley in the credits. 4) The Season Three theme that featured blue (not yellow) titles. 5) The animated series.

Theme#1 was originally used on the early episodes of the 1st season of the original NBC network run as well as the pre 1978 reruns.

I think the theme from Star Trek: The Motion Picture should be included too, even though it is now more associated with The Next Generation, but is still part of TOS since they had it first. The Wrath of Khan Theme should be here too. All in all, a good video.

Rotoscoping is using alive action image from a film cell, and then tracing the outline to create a fully fledged animated character. The process described for a "future" uses CGI to do the opposite. Taking an archive of film library concerning an individual actor in every conceivable position, and digitally placing it over the outline of an animated character. - To my knowledge, this kind of technology does not yet exist.

The theme is not complete. The open theme is a short version of the complete version, which you hear only at the final of the episodes.
