It's been great to watch the Helena episodes from start to finish. The production values, scripts and even acting have all advanced along with the plot lines. Some great character development as well; the chief engineer and doctor's are worthy of incorporation into Paramount-financed productions. Moreso, even with this barely funded fan works, the spirit of Roddenberry's future is still alive.

I didn't think I would like this at first but here it is, 7 am, and I have been binge watching every episode! Thank goodness I'm not working today! I will sleep after the last episode! Good job. This may not be some high budget Hollywood production but it keeps a Trekkies attention and THAT is what makes for good tv/film! :-)

Another great series, and even though it ties in nicely with the Oddessy series, still some questions remain... I guess I'll have to dig a little deeper.... ......and why isn't the entire "Hidden Frontier" series on KZbin!

she would have to be in triple digits in order to be the right age to be Yeoman Rand from TOS safe to assume its either a decendant or someone that happens to have the same last name.

I'm pretty sure that she's meant to be her granddaughter. Of course, being Janice Rand's relative doesn't excuse the absolute cow that she is.

no as a fan series this cannot legally make a profit because if they do so they qualify for lawsuits from Paramount and Roddenberry/Barret estate.

@yanhebert83797 жыл бұрын
At first the amateurish look made the whole thing hard to take seriously ,but after giving it a second chance i discovered to my pleasure that the storytelling was not as flat as i had perceived the acting and green screen sets ,now i'm hook i want more and lastly i am gay and i enjoy seeing gay characters in the starfleet universe .

There is no next episode unless you count Odyssey's last episode.
@usnay123457 жыл бұрын
I definitely wish there was a 'next episode.' Captain Faisal doesn't react like a traditional Star Trek captain, so each episode is a nice surprise. And several references in the series leave me asking "Where's the back story, where's back story?" And the production team has gotten much better --- greenscreen is less obvious now.

Oh my god dais annihilated that whale. I guess they forgot that obesity no longer existed in this era. You gotta stay relevant and on point. You can’t have people waddling around unless they are aliens. He still could have been in the show as one of the aliens.

Overall I did love the series. A little hiccups here and there but overall a steady good watch. Admiral rand was a grumpy old hag who probably has cobwebs all around down town and that’s why she hates the world.

The production was outstanding ! But the gay issue is not for everyone. It was not acceptable for me. The Helena Chronicles are truly some of the best fan based Star Trek I have seen! I hope to see more in the future. Live long and prosper!

Not a bad show for a budget production. Some of the green screen shots are pretty obvious but good effects and production overall. Could do without the gay lover aspects and just stick with a science fiction tale. Seems like everything has to be part soap opera though. I put the +10 tab to use fairly often and skip all the whiny emotional crap. I'm here for the aliens and space battles, as scifi should be.

As soon as the dude in the message referred to his 'husband' I switched it OFF. WHEN are y'all going to learn that this is NOT the 24th century yet and gay themes are NOT in the mainstream and shouldnt be. The main audience for ANYTHING is not accepting of the gay lifestyle and I hope it never is because on that day God will,......reemphasize HIS LAW.

modeler308 : 1. Jesus was the fulfillment of the OT, and with it closed the tenets of Leviticus -- unless you don't know that, and are still owning and beating your slaves, killing for your children for back-talking to you, or murdering your neighbor for working on the Sabbath, eating shrimp or wearing clothes of mixed fabric. 2. Jesus never said a single word about homosexuality. Not a SINGLE word. You say that's wrong? Find me ONE mention. (You won't). 3. Not every one is a Christian, and certainly not every Christian, who purportedly worships the same God and Jesus as you, hates gays. 4. Conclusion: You twist what you *think* you know about the Bible to serve your own prejudice. If you're so concerned about your Baptist drivel, how about concentrating on divorce (clearly cited in the Bible as blasphemous), or teenage pregnancy -- both virulent in the red states. Until then, STFU and leave your mockery of religion to the other yokels who buy into your ignorant crap.

fuzzyprism Old Testament The first mention of homosexuality in the Bible is in Genesis 19:1-13. The wicked men of Sodom attempted a homosexual rape of two messengers from God who had come to visit Lot. As a result of this and other widespread wickedness, God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in a storm of fire and brimstone. The next two mentions are in Leviticus You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. (NKJ, Leviticus 18:22) If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. (NKJ, Leviticus 20:13) READ THE BIBLE; I have.
