Looks good and fits given it was the Buck Rogers Serials that inspired Lucas to write Star Wars.

It reminds me of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Which was itself based on Buck Rogers and similar serials from back in the day. All very well done, though in the case of Sky Captain moviegoing audiences were too uneducated to understand what it was they were seeing 😞

Don't forget Flash Gordon. IIRC, Flash Gordon's intro inspired him to have Star Wars have its famous opening crawl.

Ok, I’m going ‘actually’…. Actually this is not so much Film Noir, but closer to late 20s, early 30s (German) expressionism. And that’s a good thing, I mean this in the best possible way. Good job!

No it is not late 20s to early 30s expressionism. This is film noir

I love the intonation of the announcer. It's like some old guy in the studio that has no idea what science fiction even is. Him doing his day job announcing, putting the accent on different syllables really gives it a flair of authenticity. Star WARS, and Cee-3-PEE-Oh. Plus the visuals are very cool. Excellent job.
