Great episode! Salvo hurts a lot and this game showed it with that Venator for sure.

Salvo is an interesting concept. It's extra shots and extra damage on opponent ships. It also adds a mechanism to use up defense tokens - or minimally force bad decisions. Thanks for watching! - Ken

This is one I have found to be a double edged sword. I've been able to use it to my advantage almost as much as it has come back to haunt me. That extra critical capability can be an interesting decision when it comes up. - Ken

Great battle. These cross era battle are fun because the ships look different. Something more military about the republic. Maybe thats just me.

Good game. One thing that bugged my OCD. Ken's Asteroid. The tile orientation didn't match the miniature for the base! Grrr!

We’ve actually been in contact with Combat Zone Scenery about this. The 3D models don’t flip as well as the tokens. :) - Ken

Could you do the special crit from the objective at 24:33

At the end of turn 3 we show that the transport us out of distance 1 of the obstacles so no special crit could have triggered. -John

Interesting battle. I think mc30 still a very strong ship (overpowered ?).

Easily the most overlooked and underrated Rebel ship. It's offense and defense both let it fight ships well above its weight class, with the speed and maneuverability of a small base, all for a fairly cheap price. MC30 MSU, if played super aggressively, is a sleeping giant of a list.

I think the only way Rebels could have won this is if you split up and hunted all of his smaller asteroid ships and avoid the V.

If the MC30s had aggressively dove straight at the Venator, they would have shredded it quickly, then had time to clean up the other small ships fleeing the wolf pack.
