It's a great time to buy in. For once the focus is on reprints. When I started in late 2019 it was basically a game of "when something is available, buy it" and then wait. Now most things are available most of the time!

Pretty excited to see more Armada stuff! I never used Moff Jerjerod in those ways and now I wish I had. Has anyone one considered playing Armada and Legion together. Using a map like in RiR to battle over systems, and then fighting a land battle using Legion to see if you can actually take the planet?

I think that they are not highlighting anything in the new version of the cards because they automatically supersedes the previous ones. Hence the "ok print this and use it now"

lol it would make so much sense for a Super SSD build with Konstantine at 19 points, because he wouldn't even factor in since there's no other ships in the fleet.

I kind of hate the change to Jerjerod tbh. Being able to use his effect on engine techs and Ozzel was so awesome. Having to burn damage for each instance seems a bit harsh to me, since getting the extra moves already requires you to have invested in the set up. Ozzel is once and done, engine techs requires you to run nav commands etc.

Yeah, Ive never been to an Armada event where within a range band was considered to be only that range band. Within is a word equivalent to the 'less than' symbol in math and was always applied as such, given that there was a maximum and no minimum stated. I understand why some people go down that rabbit hole, but its just silly to me.

I think it's inevitable that AM will re-release Armada. They may spend the next year revamping rules and deciding what to produce. I hope they are cautious, too many changes will alienate fans, avoiding controversy can only help them.

It is just sad that they are letting Armada die a very slow death. When the clone wars stuff came out I was super hyped. But now that they aren't releasing more to flesh it out, I'm kinda bummed. I think the separatists got enough stuff, but the republic seems bare bones. I was really hoping for more.

Sorry if I dont get it (not native speaker) but: Do they bring out some sort of reworked Card Upgrade Pack? Or is the Upgrade Pack still viable? I am at the beginning of collecting and try to figure out if I should wait a little bit purchasing this Cardpack.

AMG has never released anything for SW before this, to my knowledge. So only 1 printing error with the leia mixup. The other updates were FFG, mate.

@@rawbeanuk AMG has released exactly nothing of their own design, they just sold FFG-made products so far, even the leaked next X-wing Ships are the last of FFGs designs. The only thing that AMG has done so far is trash and ruin X-wing and discontinue Armada (for now). This new Errate Document is nothing new either, its just a reprint of the stuff that was released in the Card Pack over a year ago. Nothing new in the whole document except for printing errors lmao. Ok they did that one Armada scenario that felt like it was writen by a intership guy in one afternoon. Especially after the mess they made out of X-wing i have zero confidence in this company being up to the task or even wanting to do a good job. They probably will just run it into the dirt and then sell it or discontinue it because "people are not buying it anymore". Yeah guess why but i think thats part of the brand-dumping strategy. Numerous companies have done that.
