I've always wondered how they walked with the three legs but it seems the third leg is for a stationary position when in "siege mode" thx for the vid tho

yes they use two legs to walk and the third one to stabilize itself when shooting the main cannon, they have a lot of firepower, essentially the same as the larger six legged at te so two legs wouldn't give it enough support when shooting

maybe the vehicle shifts its weight forwards while aiming. Only reason it would make sense i suppose. Its a shame there isnt much lore so we dont know much about it. A back leg would make it easier to balance while walking too since it can counteract the weight of forward facing mass driver
