This is the Battlefront I wanted the first time. It looks amazing, and despite me preferring the Clone Wars, this looks just as good and promising as I loved the films. This is definitely I'll be putting on my wish-list, and I imagine a lot of others will too.

Hmmmm yep. My theories i had for myself confirms it all. First battlefront was just a demo of the game they were building. Basically the game was supposed to bring back some revenue EA lost due to all the licencing with disney for star wars props and scenery and everything they have access to. They finished the engine with all the assets scanned and all props as well as scripts but basically this shit costs fuck ton of money so they had to release something in order to be able to keep funding battlefront series. So after they got a good chunk of money back they were able to fortify this franchise and now look at this. Full single player LEGIT story that connects episodes VI and VII and tells the story between these 2 episodes. We have expanded multiplayer with multiple teams working on different aspects of multiplayer (be it vehicles units the way the gameplay revolves around objectives etc...) as well as they cancelled DLC season meaning all the maps they have planned for this game and mods are FREE which is gonna be a MASSIVE hit. All i have to say is... Good job EA on this. You are slowly but surely getting your reputation back. BF2 looks dope as fuck. NFS 2017 payback looks wicked cool and very much improved. Battlefield one is excellently done as well! Keep it going.

Couldnt agree more. This project didnt seem rushed at all. Where as the first one as soon as the teaser was released people were demanding them for the game. This game came out of nowherem i expected it but was not expecting them to go this far and include free event and game updates much like overwatch. Im excited and cant wait to play this polished game

but forcing people to shill out their shitty first game doesnt help them build trust with the new one. alot of people I've talked to aren't going to buy the new one until its been out for awhile because of that. :/ If it was just an engine demo then they should have specified that, kinda like what metal gear ground zeroes (which came out around the same time) did. yeah they charged like 30 bucks for an unfinished engine demo (basically), but at least they were honest about it. Some people bought it and some didnt. But at least they didnt screw people out of a fuckton of money and wasted time playing a crappy reboot that looks fantastic on the outside, but hollow and lifeless on the inside. I'll just stick to playing on the og battlefront 2's re-opened servers yo. Better game anyway, good luck EAfront 2
