Seeing how it's a video about graphical comparison I don't know how you forgot to talk about the (bad) removal of vertex colors on plenty of interior maps. This is a huge issue. There's part of interiors being pitch black and looking super bad. The specular and normal maps they added through a .bat broke any vertex color and it should definitely be fixed by Aspyr. This is a mess.

different releases were released with different builds, it's really odd, I'm on PC and have seen nothing being pitch black nor bad.

I'm surprised that 20 years later the graphics can make a big difference in gaming I like the newest classic battlefront its sharper and clean and the older ones is blurry and hard to see enemies and thing at far distances

Lighting to me is the biggest upgrade. Certain maps like Jabbas Palace and Death Star were unplayable before because it was too dark.

They were there in the first build but the release build removed them. Sooo it's a bug but they were there.

I just want to say man, do not listen to the weird hate comments, I believe people are more mad that you keep posting about this game then the nice monitor plug. I am absolutely loving this game even though there are bugs. I am already close to 48hr of playtime! 😎 thanks for posting about the game and keeping me posted of news and cool tips and tricks, am absolutely loving it. Also I have to remind people: You can also mod the classic collection with 90% of the old mods. Meaning you can change textures for better ones, but you still have the benefits of new lighting system. Also for me the Playstation menus and split screen are a big plus.

Really liked the Clone Wars campaign in Battlefront 1 (with the Graphics in 4K) now when they will make the Update of the Cutscene and the y cross one for the two I would be more than Happy.

Interesting the textures are definitely upgraded that I can see and there is a difference between the PS2 versions and the PS5 and series S.X versions so they actually did upgrade the game I will buy it but I might just wait until its cheaper still dont think its worth $35.00 maybe on May fourth they will drop the price I will pick it up at some point thanks for making a video showing the comparison of both versions

Has Aspyr said anything else yet? The dedicated servers on ps are multiplying and running better than at launch but still not perfect. My friends and I are having no success trying to host a server and have it be visible at the same time

The only maps I would say look worse is the Rhen Var maps in BF2. Citadel especially is straight up the wrong map, its BF1 citadel but with different lighting and a new skybox (textures are the BF1 version and things like the stained glass windows in the temple are missing), so its this weird mashup that looks worse than both versions.

Just do a complete new game, but with exact game mechanics....& 100/200 vs 100/200 instead of just 64 vs 64 players etc etc. The new Battlefronts didnt stick to the original formula which ruined the whole franchise & now we got this Rehash instead, which while good is still lacking. How hard can it be to make a Battle Royale Star Wars game that sticks to the old formula? Dice fkd it royally by changing its essential elements too much.

A lot of textures look clearer, but then you've got the mentioned AI-artifacting which makes things look a bit _less_ good if you're lookin' real close at things. There's also cases where the "cleared" look seems like more of a downgrade, like the interior of the Tantive IV looking a lot cleaner in color, shinier and more plastic-like compared to the original. There's also things that ruin the aesthetic in certain places. Some examples I see in this video being the lighting effects being so much brighter and more blinding, which leaves you unable to see any of the detailing in the lava on Mustafar like the chunks of rock within the flows because now it's all just a bright orange glow. Also the removal of the fog on Felucia and Rhen Var Harbour is a pretty questionable choice too, since those were pretty big parts of the vibe on those maps.

@@A7ZATRU Your voice is good. Its probably the mic. The Ssss sounds are really strong. When you say SSSilky SSSmooth it really tilkles the ears even at low volume. I only noticed this in your videos.
