darth jamz Blast in tough because the spawns are all over the place. I honestly prefer objective modes so there is a more flow to the game. With drop zone I know for sure that most enemies are going towards the drop pod, not running around mindlessly and shooting at me from every direction.

Not to be picky, but you should mention sometime that for players who want to get kills more than play the gamemode, you actually should play the objective because that's where your team is going to be and you can easily overpower an enemy as a group. This would also be great for close quarters players because 1. Your team will draw fire while you can get in close. And 2. Most objective spots leave plenty of cover no matter what gamemode you play in. Also, you can retreat while your team finishes the job and if you happen to have an explosive shot handy, you can do some damage if you get to a new position. Great work, your tips really help. (P.S. Also mention to go AROUND cover, not OVER it ) :)

Very cool video. Lots of good pointers here, appreciate it. The one pointer that I am glad you hit on was playing the objective. Too many times I see players trying to get the best K/D ratio, but in a team based game like Turning Point (my favourite game mode btw) this is very counter productive as you made mention, to your team. I am the perfect example of this. My K/D ratio has never been over 1:1, an average round on this mode for me is about 12 kills and 15 deaths (yes not so good as far as K/D ratio goes), however I play the objective by either obtaining or holding checkpoints. I would say that about 40% of the time my name comes up as the person out of 80 players who has the best points for objectives. This then enables me to finish in the top 5 on my team of 40 players about 90% of the time, even with my horrid K/D ratio. Awesome game though :)

Honestly, as someone who has a high k/d (usually 5+) I get even more frustrated when I'm playing the objective and killing so many players then I see the rest of my team doing neither. So I wanted to make a special point of that and get it across that you don't win team games by simply getting a lot of kills.

I am Fighter Squadron all day and for the longest time avoided the ground game like politics. Recently though I've gotten into the Hutt Contracts (BTW WHEN ARE THE CONTRACT GLITCHES GETTING FIXED OMFG) and my run and gun performance is...well sad really. I see in the first clip u used the "ca-87" most of the time your gonna be wiped out by med to long range fighters so using the "Jump Pack" will help getting in there face. The charged card I used was "Focus Fire" at first I underestimated the power of it until I tried it I could get kills med range to a little farther and u can shoot multiple times and que it up until u fire( I very very higher recommend this card if u are using the "Ca-87")!!! Then I used the" Bacta bomb" to heal myself and team mates!(also you could use a sniper like "Cycler Rifle" or "Pulse Cannon" to engage longer range fights)! Then using the "Escape Artist" trait will be very annoying to enemy's unable to defend them selves since you will be able to 1-2 shot them very quickly! This is a good hand when u wanna troll and I would use this for cargo since it's maps are smaller than most maps making it more deadly! -LastHope888

K/D is so pointless in this game. In game types like HvV and Hero hunt, youre simply going to die alot. Youre cannon fodder. In most others, youre going to be playing the objective, running to a certain point and again, dying alot. They should only track the stat on Blast to be honest. Who knows how many players never play the objective or work together because theyre afraid of a bad K/D? Im one of them, to be honest.

Good point, and I agree entirely, if you don't lose any points for dying, and have a good partner to spawn with, why not just go full out and not care if you die? I normally get an equal amount of deaths and kills, my game normally consists of getting wrecked for a few minutes with no kills, go on a streak, then get wrecked some more.

Any tips on getting the most out of the jetpack? I swear that some guys cover way more ground with the jet packs than I'm getting. Wondering if there's something I'm doing wrong.

Have you tried jumping right as you're jump-packing?

Yeah, that's prolly what I'm doing wrong. I saw him do it in another video. Not sure why I never tried that before.

+Will Terrell Yes, I always jump right before I jet pack and it will go much higher. Sorry I didn't include anything about that.

when using jet pack your more vulnerable to damage. use it with bubble shield and you'll be sweet.
