Kinda boring since its hard to see the enemies, but a beautiful cinematic experience (I hope).

I always managed to land the laat into the Star destroyer and make a break for their main reactor room

I’d land an LAAT in the hanger of the enemy, disable any systems I could inside, respawn on my ship then launch bombing runs while my allies inside the enemy ship do more damage.

​@@HUNKMrDeath-lt7kq the ship I like to use varies depending on the era. Clone Wars: I grab a CIS bomber asap, it's the best bomber in the game, can kill just about anything, 1 shots interceptors, 2 shots fighters and 3 shots bombers, and can destroy transports/gunships in the blink of an eye if you drop the bombs on them. The only downside is the bombs are VERY short range. Galactic Civil War: Grab a TIE Fighter, it's the best fighter in the game, Torpedoes do twice as much damage as any other fighter and it's arguably better at taking out hardpoints than a bomber is (doesn't help that the TIE Bomber is the second worst bomber in the game, with the V-Wing being the worst because of that shotgun giving it almost no pvp range whatsoever, drops bombs faster though.) takes 2 passes/12 torpedoes to destroy just about anything if you have the damage increase and they can be fired from 1600 meters away and still hit their target, I almost never use a gunship in multiplayer, they're flying coffins if the enemy team knows what they are doing. I've racked up nearly 20 pvp kills in a matter of seconds because I was in a bomber and took out 2 fully loaded LAATs before they even knew what was happening, while annihilating their ARC-170 escorts. I originally had a MUCH longer comment but decided to cut it down.

@@moffxanatos6376 have you ever taken the jedi starfighter take off and land ever so carefully so your outside the ship! Then from there you can freely explore around the outside of this ship! Between that and flying into the back of the venator to get inside the ship and healing your shield generator i don't see how you ever find time to actually play lol

For a mod , i will added tie advanced and b-wing for this map, and when you finish with some star destroyers , rebels can atack death star core, imperials instead have access to death star laser cannon, destroying one rebel capital ship when much gameplay pass, winning the map if the game gets too long.

Thats one thing that bothered me is the psp versions renegade and elite of battlefront were significantly better. 1 it had space to land combat 2 they had b wings and a space mission where you could fight in a space station for command posts as well as in the capital ships. And 3 they had customizable charectors

@Dakyn well I agree its not a turn based galactic Conquest is completely different in that game. Empire at war is top based battlefront is either first person or third person and you don't control everyone you can't put a fleet everywhere you can't keep the jedi ect I can go on for hours on how they are in fact very different that being said in EAW OG OR FOC The ai sucks and in most cases straight out refuses to build anything good or use tactics even on the hardest difficulty. The rebels have an extreme advantage as you can just send infiltrators or Luke and literally take a planets surface which destroyer the space station leaving there fleets vulnerable. The death star is literally a instant win as long as it isn't randomly blown up by ig 88 or rouge squad when you leave it on a planet to long. Without mods that game isn't great now. At the time is was groundbreaking tho. Using mods EAW is the greatest game I've ever played

The mc80 ships look absolutely glorious. I bought this game for my 360 black not too long ago in cex and such nostalgia. I used to play this on my PS2 and play it on the Xbox and it's such a better game then the one we have now for the ps4

really like the NO-HUD gameplay in BF2 2005 if you are up to the challenge : Suun Ra Desert City either as the Republic or Empire no HUD one round alone can go from 30 min to 1 hour or more of back and forth and weapons in general do more damage.

Is it possible to move the star destroyer's hangar down to the ventral hangar bay where it belongs? It always bothered me that the hangar is on the side.

That wouldn't be possible since the Remaster mod is intended to work with Vanilla multiplayer so each player doesn't need to have the mod to join. Think of it as a virtual new coat of paint with the exact same game underneath.

I play offline with bots only so it does not really matter to me.

Yeah, the ISD model is a custom mesh, but it was shrunk to fit the original in a few places such as the turret positions and the odd side hangar. This is also why it has beam weapons on the side since the original had those (likely due to Pandemic copying the Republic model which did use beam weapons). The Vanilla ships were surprisingly large, but it was difficult to tell because of their bizarre shapes. The Rebel ship got a similar treatment with some extra bits added to hide the conversion like a second "battle bridge" near where the original was.

@@Arturius1000 I don't think so. There's a ship at 0:19 that appears to have giant wings either side of it. Victory only has small flap like structures. The front end of the ship im looking at also seems to be chunkier at the front end. Not as point as most destroyers

The skins and look incredible, and the interior of the Star Destroyer (chef's kiss). But there are a few issues. The lighting is oversaturated. You can tell at 6:11, because the light is blocking your view of the everyone else in the hangar. But my other gripes are more to do with this video itself. In future you should focus on showing off more of the interiors, other fighters, and character models. Spend half of the video playing as the other faction. For example, at 5:43, where do those stairs lead? Can you even go through that door?

The lighting problem is from Shader Patch and totally my mistake for being lazy to figure it out how to turn it off. 5:43 is a fake-door. There is an invisible wall. I try to make a complete video of every map playing on both sides in the future.

One cool thing about this mod is there are a lot of Easter Eggs hidden throughout. For example, in the "Life Support" room, the two forcefields on the doors are also passable. Also, included is a "Space Naboo" map with the ability to fly an N1 starfighter for the Rebels. There are also many hidden static models like certain droids on the Rebel ship and one particularly prolific character floating outside on the Space Tatooine map for those looking. (to name a few). Lastly, if you press "V", each ship has its own custom cockpit provided you installed all three parts of the mod.

You can always repair the shields if they get taken down.

That is true, but becouse of the AI autobalance the shields will always be taken down offscreen as soon as I damage the enemy ship. That is more useful in a multyplayer match.

@@Arturius1000 the empire always seemed more op than the rebellion in space battles . Seems like The landing shuttle does more damage than the LT gunship and the star destroyers turrets are better placed .
