I'll be honest, it seems so limiting that the clone wars team gave echo just a scomp arm instead of a regular cybernetic arm like Anakin's but with a built in scomp.

Yeah it would seem strange to not give the ARC Trooper two functioning arms to hold two blasters or a rifle, if they needed the scomp those New Republic security droids in The Mandalorian had them built-into their arm so even if it's technically future droid models you'd think this stuff existed during the clone war too. I think Echo with two arms and maybe a commando DC-17M would've been badass. Other gripe is the Lobot implant because clearly it's not as practical, he had to modify the helmet to wear it and they never explained why he got it or why they would need it. I like when designs look practical, everything must have some purpose but here nothing is shown to have any.

Well the Seppies gave him the scomp so he could be jacked into their system. I guess he either got used to it and wanted to keep it, or they didn’t think to replace what he had with a real arm. 🤷🏻‍♂️ But it’s cool regardless. It makes him entirely unique among the clones.

I do like that Echo has a Kama, calling back to his days as an ARC trooper. None of the other bad batchers have it and along with the arm, he stands out. They’re all super unique designs which is why they’re some of the best designed Star Wars characters.

Found mine at Target today even though I expected to see this way later in the year. I even used their price policy to reduce the price after it was placed on a rack for the vintage collection. After a quick visit to the service desk and $12.99 later, got myself a great figure to complete my OG bad batch team. Now all I need is Omega!

8:07 I was thinking more the device the bank robbers were using in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but that comparison works too. Also cut off the comma, paint the whole body black with maybe some gunmetal dry brushing on top, you've got a solid Borg figure. Personally I would've thought they'd just make the headgear piece removable ala Lady Jaye's hair in the Classified Line, have the helmet slide on, then put the headgear back on where the gap was. Obviously I don't know if that would've been feasible, but seeing that little peg at the bottom of the helmet just looks a bit too flimsy to me.

I’m not watching the full video or reading comments because I’ve not seen Bad Batch yet (or the full run of Clone Wars for that matter - I’m working on it), BUT I DID FIND THIS IN THE WILD AT WALGREENS AND DID PURCHASE HIM SIMPLY BASED ON HIS PURE BADASSARY. Firstly, I love him for his very Borg-like appearance. It *is* weird to see *such* a Borg-like Star Wars character, but damn I got over the weirdness fast. This figure is one of the best figures I own. His helmet does actually fasten, it just takes a little repositioning… and repositioning of the actual helmet, until you get a solid fit for the click-fasten to occur. So, yeah, amazing, amazing, amazing figure… and for some reason I’ve seen this thing selling as high as $84 on eBay. Insanity.

You put the helmet on wrong. Its tricky but it does fit. Also the arm piece is for Season 2. Its also included in the Echo Hot Toys figure if you want a more detailed look.

I lucked out and found a Sealed Case on the Pallet at Walmart last Thursday. I was initially kinda surprised when I opened it and found Ahsoka and tge Client. I was Expecting it to be the Previous Wave with Boba, Fennec, Bib , Ponda, Evizan, Leia and Migs, but there was No Way I was leaving them there. It's a Great Wave. Ahsoka, the Client, and Deathwatch Mandalorian are Fantastic! Echo is Pretty Cool. I stuck his Arm Attachment on one of the Antennas of His Backpack. Omega is a Surprisingly Good figure too.

Found Echo today here in Australia. Funnily enough, in a similar way. A couple of week's ago the east coast had reported sightings at Target and I've kept my eyes out. Not much Black Series stuff at Targets around me. Then saw today someone report that Zing had them. I saw online that a Zing store too far away from me had one. I had him on pre-order at Amazon, so I wasn't super desperate. Anyway, dropped my oldest at football training, went to my local Zing... nothing there. Target in the same shopping centre seemed to have nothing but then I somehow just caught a glimpse of Echo staring at me. They actually had 3 of him, so picked the best one from the face apps (I tell ya, some of them just slightly off centre don't look right) and got him. $10 cheaper than Zing's price as well. So I have now finished my Bad Batch team (I've not even watched the show, and I hate Clones, but these spoke to me). Not sure I really have any interest in Omega at this stage. We seem to be having a situation where stores are getting full packouts of single figures. Around a month ago when Zing got Ahsoka from this wave. And from previous waves stores seem to get a glut of General Lando or Bo Katan. Not sure if I like it or not. Of course, the one I want the most is The Client. Just because it's Werner Herzog. I can put him up against my George Lucas, who's head I swapped onto a Rampart body, and then just used the Stormtrooper as a regular Stormtrooper. Of course, Rampart has been on sale twice by Zing for $15 (retailed originally for $45) so I've bought at least a dozen by now to make my own Imperial officers. Hopefully he goes on sale again, feels like I need to stock up as much as possible.

Love the accessories… like the arm/claw and removable helmet. They were doing them with 3.75 in figure, but not so much with the 6 in figures. Like the GI Joe figures should have removable rubber vests, they are already separate pieces; they just need to make sure they can be wore and removed - just a little more engineering. But this looks good with and without the helmet.

Claw arm is unique and wicked, Overall a great Cyborg version of an ex Arc-Trooper (Something really messed up must have happened to him that they had to replace part of his brain and an arm ?) Love the look and style, all new parts, one of my fave SW 6 inch Soldiers of all time !!! Great review as always

Ever since Yakface posted the Walgreens Exclusive "212th Battalion Clone Trooper," I drove to my four nearest Walgreens with my fingers crossed. Thus far - "nada." The Walgreens I usually frequent (for regular toiletries and such) has had the same two original Jyn Erso's collecting dust. I went the next closest and found Ponda Baba (which looks amazing close up) along with Bib Fortuna. Unfortunately, I didn't need either. Third Walgreens had a single Fennec (which would have been awesome, if I hadn't just ordered on Hasbro)! Fourth Walgreens yielded nothing. Then I checked out what the pirates are doing on eBay - a handful of listings - from CA to Philly, some Florida and a couple of other sellers in random states - $60 - $80 - Nope. I would rather do without (for my Black Series Clone collection) than pay these ding bats. GLAD you found Echo! I ordered him on Gamestop and hope he ships quickly (now that I know some were "in the wild!" That's a great sign! Also can't believe the Defender Strange (Marvel Legends) with portal ring is almost here (from TARGET) - whoot whoot!

Another great review Robo! I'll never understand why Hasbro has decided that kneepads should all be attached to the thigh instead of the shin. That would solve the problem with weird alignment when the thigh must be rotated to avoid crashing.

True, but is the knee pad was on bottom it would open up the articulation to most sight lines in most bent positions. With it on the thigh the articulation stays hidden except when sitting or kneeling. Not saying it's better, just my thought on what their reasoning may be.

@@TheFwoosh I heated and popped the lower legs on the few new Clone Troopers I have. Cut the peg off the back of the pad and glued it into the hole left on the upper leg, painted it to match the black body suit. It makes the pad free floating to position where you want.

Knee pads look different because Echos legs are actually robotic, this is something Hasbro could have easily glossed over given their recent history of ignoring these kinds of details. Fair play to them they seem to have done their homework with this one
