This was an incredible watch, so good that I couldn't not pay for it out of principle. THIS is the type of content I think most dedicated Star Wars fans would enjoy unanimously. The passion from production can be felt. It boggles my mind that Disney can waste such a profitable, lore rich, incredibly expansive, & entertaining IP like Star Wars so consistently despite dumping hundreds of millions of dollars into each release. They have so many different media corporations under their thumb that they don't care about whether it succeeds or not. When any company gets as big as they do, they don't have to concern themselves with any property of theirs succeeding because the executives in charge just care that the company is meeting revenue expectations in their quarterly reports. That's why they don't care for the money or the success because in their mind they already had long ago. It would be so easy for them to hire a good writing team or adapt a story like this, but it just doesn't matter to them anymore.

Everything that DISNEY STAR WARS makes is a STAIN upon Star Wars History and I refuse to ever acknowledge it as CANON and LORE. I am grateful for this episode and others like it online, This story and production is far superior than anything made by STAR WARS , other than ROGUE ONE and ANDOR (mandolorian 1+2). Its amazing how a great star wars story only requires minimal graphics to be great and worth watching throughout 2 hours!!! This is easily one of the BEST fan projects that I've ever seen, if not _the_ best. The voice-acting and detail on the various locations means that it would really only need slightly better animation to fully qualify as an official adaptation of the Darth Plagueis novel. Easily far better than the complete dumpster fire we got from The Acolyte, THIS is the "Prequel to the Prequel Trilogy" show that should have been greenlit. I especially dig Plagueis' voice-acting, it absolutely fits a powerful Sith Lord who deals far more in subtly masterminding politics than raw feats of power. Second only to young Sheev Palpatine. It is honestly chilling to hear such an accurate portrayal of what he would sound like as a young man; cocky, brilliant, and cautious, but not quite experienced or knowledgeable enough to be the Darth Sidious that we see in the films. It weirdly parallels Anakin's portrayal of a little child years before his descension into the powerful and terrifying Darth Vader, with how Plagueis subtly pushes the young Sheev closer to the Dark Side in almost the exact same way Sidious himself would subtly manipulate Anakin into the Dark Side. Those scenes where Plagueis sneakily capitalizes on and exploits Sheev's resentments and ambitions is leagues greater than Mae's _and_ Osha's entire combined screentime of their Dark Side experiences through The Acolyte's first (and hopefully sole) season.

Also on a second view, the story plagueis tells palpatine about his siblings and how he hired their geneticist, leading to their death.. it’s so similar as a tactic to how and why sidious told Anakin the tragedy of plagueis. Also that there were lies woven into them. Kind of like inception, planting a thought in their head, making them think it was their own. Really learned from his master from the jump

Such a masterpiece of a work, the opening crawl with the tense mysterious music really gave the film the tone it needed, not to mention the nostalgic graphics that gave life to it. I doubt Disney would ever be able to make Darth Plagueis so cryptic and unfathomable as you did, as he is supposed to be.
