Star Wars Destiny Introduction Game Play - Grievous vs Obi-Wan Convergence Starter Decks

T3's symbio and niftynick welcome new players to this awesome game Start Wars: Destiny by doing a game play video using the Convergence Grievous and Obi-Wan Starter Decks.
We built 2 decks using only 2 copies of each Convergence Starter Deck to build a standard legal 30 card deck. If you are new to the game and have 2 copies of each this might help you get an idea of how to play the decks. Have fun and let us know what you think!

I have been waiting to see more vids of the starters or a deck with that grievous team. The one I played with last night was pretty cool. I would go out and say that is probably the best starter since the game came out.

I'd love more videos using the starters. Even if it's just an explanation of deck composition. I like making decks using the basic mechanics and themes from the starters. I usually only replace/add 10-14 cards but would love some advice.

Hello, I have the 2 decks, and you can not play 3 commando droids with grievous as they are 8 points. With the general at 9 point. So 8 + 8 +8 +9 =33. So to play the deck you need 2 Dice grievous and the 2 droids at 1 dice.

Hi Luis. General Grievous has an ability which says "While building your team, the point value of each droid is decreased by 1" So Each Commando Droid (8 Points normally) would be reduced to 7 each. 3 droids = 21 points, + 1 die Grievous (9 points) = 30 Points :D

How many Commando Droids does the dark deck come with?

Comes with 2 in a starter deck so if you get 2 starters you get elite Grievous and 4 droids!

I've been out of this game for a little while, can I ask what power actions are? Is it like a once per round ability?

Exactly! Some characters now have the once per Turn Power Action abilities and we usually use a token to signify its been done.
