During Palpatine's story at the opera he is in fact talking about himself, only he was Plagueis's apprentice. He learned all he could from him and then killed his master, as is the way of the Sith. Palpatine had Anakin kill Dooku at the beginning of the movie because of the rule of 2. There can only be 2 sith and he wanted Anakin to replace Dooku. George Lucas started by releasing what is now known as Episode 4, A New Hope (it was simply known as “Star Wars” when it first came out in 1977) because he felt that part of his overall story worked better as a single movie with a beginning, middle and end. So if the movie wasn’t that successful, at least it could stand alone and make sense. But if it did make lots of money (it did), he could continue the overall story. None of the other movies could really stand on their own in comparison.

Not true. Anakin had morality. Sure his trust in the council was disnegrating, but whether he was going to turn to the darkside even without padme is just a theory. Not a fact. Bc anakin's sole reason for turning was bc he wanted to save padme. Anakin wasn't interested in joining the darkside. @thereisnopandemic Жыл бұрын
@@donnyouttheway4091 well The Midiclorian or however that’s spelled. The most controversial thing George Lucas did with his prequel trilogy was attempting to explain the force. The whole idea behind it was originally that it was some sort of mystical, unexplained thing that held the universe together and ran through everyone. For some reason, Lucas decided to reduce this down to some sort of biological infestation which meant Anakin had a particularly high midichlorian count, and therefore became very strong with the force. Luckily, everyone hated this particular device so much that it was never mentioned in a canon film again, even if Lucas stated that his own version of the sequel trilogy would have dived deep into the little lifeforms 2 Yoda’s Acrobatics In fact, there is a lot of inconsistency between Yoda’s portrayal in the prequels in comparison to the original trilogy. When we first meet him in episode 5, where he is a cute little puppet who walks around very slowly and needs a stick. About thirty years earlier, he was busy backflipping over the head of Count Dooku and single-handedly keeping back the impressive lightsaber skills of Emperor Palpatine. Considering he was over 900 years old in both trilogies, what could possibly have happened in those thirty years that aged him so incredibly quickly. 3. When Luke and Leia are talking about their mom, Leia explains that she can remember a little bit about her and what she was like. This, understandably, led the audience to believe that Padme was around for a while and tragically died young. Revenge Of The Sith ignores this line entirely, killing Padme mere seconds after she had finished naming the kids. If Leia really could remember her mother, then she has some seriously impressive memory skills.
@donnyouttheway4091 Жыл бұрын
@@thereisnopandemic I had really come back and read this 😂. But I knew that first part. The part about the force really didn’t bother me personally. Only because it really didn’t matter to me. The only thing I wanted to know was, what happened to the jumps? The flips? That’s what I didn’t get when the next few movies came out. I just wished it was more Jedi and sith again. I’m good on the flying, shooting, romance etc. episode III was so mind blowing for me at 10 years old. Plus my pops hyping me up for it, telling me Anakin was darth Vader. I just miss that feeling. And oh yeah, that Luke and Leia situation didn’t make sense either. But I saw other people say , palpatine drained padme’s life and gave it to Anakin. Palpy was the apprentice that killed his master, Darth Plagueis. He manipulated everybody the whole time. Dooku and Grievous, and the whole droid army attacking everyone, were working under him so that he could be installed as chancellor under the guise of being needed to stop them. He, then, turned on all of them. He was the one that had the clone army commissioned. He also knew that Padme was in no real danger, except from Anakin, yet used her in order to manipulate Anakin. Mace Windu was another instance of Palpy's manipulation. He wasn't as helpless as he seemed, though Windu does appear to have actually bested Palpy with the lightsaber; instead, Palpy wanted to use Windu to suggest to Anakin that the Jedi were trying to take power by murdering him. He twisted the truth into lies to gain power, much like politicians today.

It's about nothing. There is no reason, there are no stakes and it doesn't have any consequences. (No, it doesn't. Anakin was basically Vader before the fight). Why is he angry? How are they supposed to be friends? Overlong CG duels with no consequences... that's probably why Matrix 2 and 3 are so good. Or are they? Besides, who are those heroes on both sides? - that would mean not every character is black and white but that'd way over the head of SW writing. In SW you are either a hero or a villian not because of the actions, but because the music and the lighting says so. And if you have a skin condition you must be top rank evil. And why is Grievous basically another version of Vader minus the charisma? Two films and nothing to do and no character. Nothing means anything. After a dozens of films and shows nobody knows what that prophecy is or how it matters or what "balance" would mean... These films are so incredibly lazy.

*Hey bud, you asked why they were released in this order* When George Lucas started writing the story back in the 1970s, he wrote a rough outline of WAY too much for one movie and so when he was trying to get money from a film studio he had to figure out what part of all of his notes he wanted to focus on, and at that point he didn't know it was going to be a success or make any money, so he was thinking about what part of all the stuff he wrote would be good in a movie by itself in case it was the only one made, and so he thought the events of episode 4 was a good place to start. After 4 was a HUGE success, he didn't have any problems with getting money for making more movies ever again, and was able to make 5 and 6. He had some ideas about 1, 2, and 3 but at the time the special effects weren't good enough to do what he pictured in his head, but by the mid 90s came around, he realized that computers were able to finally do the complex blue screen and stuff and so he decided to polish off his old notes for 1,2 and 3 and finally make them.

Are you all right? you try to say, but another voice speaks for you, out from the vocabulator that serves you for burned-away lips and tongue and throat. "Padme? Are you here? Are you all right?" I'm very sorry, Lord Vader. I'm afraid she died. It seems in your anger, you killed her. This burns hotter than the lava had. "No... no, it is not possible!" You loved her. You will always love her. You could never will her death. Never. But you remember... You remember all of it. You remember the dragon that you brought Vader forth from your heart to slay. You remember the cold venom in Vader's blood. You remember the furnace of Vader's fury, and the black hatred of seizing her throat to silence her lying mouth- And there is one blazing moment in which you finally understand that there was no dragon. That there was no Vader. That there was only you. Only Anakin Skywalker. That it was all you. Is you. Only you. You did it. You killed her. You killed her because, finally, when you could have saved her, when you could have gone away with her, when you could have been thinking about her, you were thinking about yourself... It is in this blazing moment that you finally understand the trap of the dark side, the final cruelty of the Sith- Because now your self is all you will ever have. And you rage and scream and reach through the Force to crush the shadow who has destroyed you, but you are so far less now than what you were, you are more than half machine, you are like a painter gone blind, a composer gone deaf, you can remember where the power was but the power you can touch is only a memory, and so with all your world-destroying fury it is only droids around you that implode, and equipment, and the table on which you were strapped shatters, and in the end, you cannot touch the shadow. In the end, you do not even want to. In the end, the shadow is all you have left. Because the shadow understands you, the shadow forgives you, the shadow gathers you unto itself - And within your furnace heart, you burn in your own flame. This is how it feels to be Anakin Skywalker.. Forever.."

Lucas started writing a sci-fi novel where the main character was called StarKiller, than he developed the story which become Star Wars, without any number), but the script was too long for just one movie and not all the characters were defined yet. So Star Wars was shotened and released as a stand alone movie, without any number, and after its success Lucas could go on with the story. Star Wars became Episode 4 when Empire Strikes Back was released and wile writing it Lucas decided Vader would have been Luke's father, that's why in the first movie (I mean ep.4) ObiWan tells him Vader betrayed and killed his father, because that was the first idea. The story of the prequels was not defined at those times yet, it was just a bunch of notes to launch the story.

George Lucas once referred to the Star Wars movies as “The Tragedy of Anakin Skywalker”. The original sequel had true fans like myself (I saw Episode 4 in the theater in 1977 when I was 7 years old), we wanted to know what happened and how Anakin became Darth Vader. Episode 3 gave me a new appreciation for the original sequel, especially Episode 6. It really is a story about the tragedy of Anakin, I cried at the end of this movie.

George Lucas basically picked the episode he thought that he could realistically make at the time back in the 70s. That happened to be episode 4. That being said he figured it would be a single stand alone movie at the time he made it. It did so well that it snowballed into the rest.

George Lucas did it like that because he didnt have the budget to do the entire skywalker saga so he started in the middle but he did have plans for the prequel trilogy eventually...watching from release order is better than chronological cause you get all the surprises if youre new to star wars if you watch chronological the surprise isnt there cause the story itself is very linear...gotta watch the Obiwan series that takes about 10 years after 3

I like, what is now referred to as, the Machete order. IV, V, I, II, III, VI. At the end of V, you get the Anakin/Vader reveal. Then there's an extended flashback with the prequels, which brings you back to present time in VI. With the Rogue One release, I might even suggest that it's really the first movie to watch, because then the opening of IV makes sense.

Great reaction! 😊 This is my absolute favorite of the prequel trilogy. And tied for first with "The Empire Strikes Back" as my favorite of all the "Star Wars" movies. The ending lightsaber fight between Obi-Wan and Vader(Anakin) is by far my favorite scene of the movie. The fight choreography with Ewan and Hayden along with the music. It's outstanding! This movie does a good setting up the original trilogy as far as learning how Anakin turned to the Dark Side, how Leia ended up with Bail Organa, and how Luke came to live with his Aunt and Uncle on Tattooine. Next up for "Star Wars" is "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" movie. OR since you just finished the prequels you can start on the "Obi-Wan Kenobi" Disney+ series since the prequel movies are still fresh in your mind. Which ever one you decide. 👍 By the way, your dog is a cutie. Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊

⚠️Hey Leo (I really hope you read this though it is a bit long but, there's a good reason for that)!⚠️ Great job reacting to all the Prequel Trilogy! I'm glad you decided to give it a go regardless of so many telling you that this trilogy was "bad". I was one of the ones asking that you watch it so you could see that, even though there are some flaws and issues with the Prequels, they still merge and reinforce what we have all seen in the Original Trilogy. Now then, to the main point of this comment: At the very end, you ask why so many _(including myself)_ have asked you *_NOT_* to watch the Sequel trilogy _(more like Sequel TRAGEDY)_ by those that now make their own cheap imitation version and call it "star wars". I understand your confusion and even though I wrote a similar message to you a long time ago explaining things, I will try to explain the "why" again. Now, I have been a longtime, hardcore STAR WARS fan from the very beginning. I grew up with the Original Trilogy and enjoyed the Prequel Trilogy when it came out. I also enjoyed the STAR WARS Expanded Universe which was all the other things besides the 6 films - books, comics, games, toys etc. etc.. so, rest assured, I know what I am talking about. This is coming from the point of view of a hardcore, longtime fan, not some casual that came late to the STAR WARS party.. The reason we ask you again and again *_NOT_* to watch the "sequel trilogy" is simple: it was made by outsiders that have nothing to do with George Lucas (the creator of STAR WARS), nor do they have any intention of following his original vision for STAR WARS. From the very beginning after they took over, they promised to keep Lucas's vision of STAR WARS alive and once he was out the door, they threw those promises into the trash, laughing at the fact that Lucas entrusted them with his creations. These people made this new trilogy promising everyone it would be original and "new" material but, when the first film finally came out, "the force awakens" was nothing more than a cheap reboot of _'Episode 4: A New Hope'._ After that, it became clear that they never had any intention of giving fans new and original material. They simply turned around and cannibalized previoius material, called it "new" and quickly shoved it out the door in an effort to rake in millions (which they did). The main reasons why people like me ask you not to watch *_ANY_* of those films are as follows: 1. They lied to the fanbase and then insulted them when we called them out on their trickery. 2. Their films take the Original Trilogy and basically mix it with original Expanded Universe books and then they tried to call it "new" material when it was all just plagiarized and cannibalized material, which went against their promise of original and "new" material. 3. Their "trilogy" basically invalidates and voids all the events seen in the previous 6 films. All the sacrifices, deaths and events that shaped the previous 6 films and most important, the ending of _'Episode 6: Return Of The Jedi',_ were now made meaningless and pointless. 4. They take all the classic legacy characters like Han, Luke, Leia, Lando and not only ruin them by making them be the total opposite of how they were portrayed in the original 6 films. The heroes you considered them to be no longer exist in their films. They are made to be cowards, failures and useless people. Not only that, but to add insult to injury, they kill all of them off in the most riduculous and idiotic of ways. 5. They got rid of the legacy characters in order to replace them with their garbage crap characters that are nothing but a bunch of woke stereotypes. Not only that, the writers of those films were more concerned with pushing social agendas and ideologies than actually writing new and interesting stories. 6. Their films are so full of inconsistencies and plot holes, cheap and boring characters with no real background and unfinished storylines that went absolutely nowhere because the writers were literally making things up as they went along, instead of planning things out beforehand and making sure they had a good story. They were more concerned with pushing all their little woke agendas first, and then whatever time was left, devoted that to writing a garbage and rushed story that wasn't even cohesive from episode to episode or in the case fo their spinoff films, "rogue one" and "solo", were so boring and bland, they are quickly and utterly forgettable and dismissed. I could go on and on but, if you love these characters from the original 6 films, please don't ruin them for yourself by watching the "sequel trilogy". Last, don't be swayed or pressured into watching them by those that tell you that they're "better" than any of the original 6 films. Those films are a disease that killed the STAR WARS brand and franchise. I'm sure you can see all the negativity surrounidng STAR WARS now and the cause is pretty obvious. Ask yourself why STAR WARS is now a running joke and when you do, you will see that the people who "own" it now are the very same ones that have smashed it and drilled it into the ground... Again, great reactions to the Prequel and Original Trilogy films! Keep your reactions coming, brother! By the way, I would like to suggest some films for you to react to (add them to your list if you like!) 1. Mad Max 2. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 3. Highlander 4. Donnie Darko 5. the original X-Men and original Spider-Man trilogies 6. The Punisher (with Thomas Jayne)

*Fun facts:* Grievous' lightsabers are actually from the jedi he slayed during the war. He had a whole collaction of them like he said. He also collected robes, and also padawan braids. He was known as the greatest jedi killer in the galaxy's known history after Darth Vader. Darth Plagueis was actually Palpatine's/Sidious' master, who he killed some time before the events of The Phantom Menace. The only problem was that Plagueis took his mentioned ability to his grave, so Sidious was actually bluffing when he lured Anakin in with it. The reason why Windu was able to defeat Sidious in combat, is that he was using a special lightsaber-combat style which taps into the dark side, mining under the arrogance, hatred and anger of the opponent, which led to Sidious' downfall. The cause of Vader's survival on Mustafar is due to him using the dark side of the force, by feeding himself with the hatred towards Obi-Wan. Later in his suit, in which he still suffered constant pain, this pain and hatred kept him going. More from the suit. Vader's suit is also built into his lungs, and his other vital organs, while also, constantly injecting him with painkillers. The suit is also a hella' heavy one, so it's very hard to move in it, Vader is constantly using the force to move his arms and legs. The only way he is able to take off his mask and helmet is in the chamber we see in Empire Strikes Back. Sidious had a more advanced suit made for Vader actually, but he chose not to give it to him, since tis prototype suit hindered Vader so much that he wasn't as big of a threat as he would've been in the advanced suit. Vader couldn't move his arms above his shoulders, and couldn't really turn in it, and Sidious also had a failsafe built into the suit, so it would be really vulnerable against force-lightning. Vader actually insisted on repairing his own suit whenever it was damaged, using the force to move tools, being a mechanic himself. Due to his limitations, Vader had to make up his own lightsaber-combat style, which protected the vulnerable parts of his suit, and also tricked jedi in combat. With this changed lightsaber-combat style he was a force of nature when it came to hunting jedi. He learned some from Obi-Wan's protective form, while also using his own strength and techniques to combat jedi. He also tapped into the force more, using it in physical combat, while also to taunt his opponents, tapping into their minds, making them lose focus, defeating them more easily.

Episode 4 was originally just called "Star Wars". When they made the sequel (Ep 5) Lucas originally wanted to call it "Star Wars - Episode II" but as they were writing it, they decided to make Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker _the same person,_ the twist was a surprise to everyone. Thinking about the backstory of how Anakin turned into Vader and had a falling out with Obiwan, Lucas realized he wanted to make a prequel trilogy one day, so he changed the name to _Star Wars: Episode 5_ knowing it would be a long time before technology would be good enough to make Eps 1-3 the way he wanted them done. So the wierd order was because they only thought of the Anakin storyline after the OG was already made, and the reason for the long wait was because Lucas wasn't happy with the limitations of the technology at the time and wanted to wait until the tech was good enough to do the Droid armies and Order 66 and all that. Lucas used his Star Wars money to pay for the invention of the CGI and digital editing that everyone takes for granted now. Thanos and Gollum were built on the backbones of what Lucasfilm did to make Jar Jar possible
