I will also note if we tend to get new kyber crystals over time I would like for Disney to give us a Darth Jar Jar Binks as he is being shown in the upcoming lego star wars rebuild the galaxy other then that I would like to see crystals even from past video games such as Star Killer as a example or even a Wookie Jedi

until Savi's Workshop lightsaber get updated with a new chassis that supports the color I don't think we will see orange anytime soon ... if we did would love to have Baylon Skull as a crystal

@@SirJamesIGamerfuzion you can reprogram the crystals to orange already! I haven’t seen the blade color but I know they chassis lights register orange when a crystal is programed to a specific code

@@Roninsconquest I think the first set had codes for orange and cyan, but the issue was the blades/boards themselves not supporting the color combinations. There was a handful of custom blades out there that had the orange and cyan color schemes to use. Not sure if they actually detected the crystals though or were just set via a custom board in the blade. Hopefully though when they eventually make a new chassis and update the blades it will still work with the first and second set of parts we have lol

@@Vanom. yes they did! But the orange color was very close to the red so there wasn’t much of a difference same with the cyan but having baylin skoll and shin haiti in holo crons would be cool!

For now the old holocrons are being sold at the Downtown Disney Outpost. I hope they don’t repackage the old Kyber crystals in the new canisters. If people collected the original crystals, then buy the new ones, it would be frustrating to get duplicates of the old ones. Thank you for a great video. I’m looking forward to you reviewing all of the new ones.

I’m not a fan of the voice acting with the new stuff. At least with the old ones they used a lot of voice lines from the movies with the original actors. Or the voice acting had really good impersonations like with Count Dooku. The impersonations this time around aren’t as good. Especially the Darth Vader and Luke ones.

I have yet to get the two Jedi Holocrons to work together. I don't know which sides go together. Which side is the bottom? I assumed it was the same side that the bottom of the drawer.

The Holocron Luke lines come from comics. Two of the lines were from the Rise of Kylo Ren comic, a great series. The other lines are from a miniseries that came out in the lead up to the Force Awakens, I can't remember the name.

I assume your are holding the sides the whole time which is not what you are suppose to do because holding the sides on the new ones will cause them to go into sync mode

At Batuu East, they had all the older Kyber Crystals in a small bin by the registers and all we had on the wall were the new holocrons and crystals. I, too, hope they eventually release an orange kyber!

What's cool is that not only did the black kyber crystal get updated, but we also get 2 brand new chase variant kyber crystals: Kylo Ren (the 2nd chase variant of the red crystal) and Ben Solo (the 1st ever chase variant of the blue crystal), they're both "cracked" kyber crystals

I went to Galaxy’s Edge a year and a half ago and got both holocrons, a protection and defense lightsaber (before the refresh) and a full set of Kyber Crystals. I guess I’ll have to make another trip and get these new holocrons, crystals and wayfinder.

I have a V1 Sith, missed out on the V1 Jedi. I'm going to be Darth Tyranus for Los Angeles Comic Con and this video just helped convince my better half that we need to get both V2 Holocrons and a few Kyber Crystals before we go. Thanks for that.

The new holocrons are very interesting and I am surprised that they added new characters to the Kyber Crystals. The High Republic jedi was most surprised they added. Thank you for this review and it does give me an interest of the new holocrons

Ok I came here because I couldn't get my Jedi ones to sync and can't really tell which way you had them I figured it's speaker up for 2 and door away for 1 I couldn't tell which way you had them

I bought the wayfinder because I was told by a cast member that the wayfinder allows you to know how to get the black but im not hearing or seeing any info on that. Does anyone know about this? Or was i lied to

wayfinder DOES NOT help you find the black crystal the only thing it does is when you scan your crystals the wayfinder will chart a course to a planet and provide up to 4 dialogue of information about the location

@SirJamesIGamerfuzion yeah ok that's what I thought too. Don't know why that lady said that The sith wayfinder was still worth it though. For 1.0 I'm only missing the chirrut white crystal, Maul, and palatine for red, and the black. And then in 2.0 im missing all the reds, plo koon, luminara, and the cracked blue and black are the only ones im missing. I have the chase red. Which was awesome cause I only bought one of each color on my recent trip and got it first try.

Excellent , comprehensive video James. For me a pass. Too much to invest in basically a variant. The new voice acting is horrible so thats a negative. . I usually dont get to bothered about that but this is really noticeable. But if ya got the $ go for it. And if you never got the originals these will do fine
